    Just wanted to post the board dimensions he used for quick reference later: Front 1" x 4" x 15 1/4" Back 1" x 3" x 15 1/4" Sides 1" x 3" x 21 3/4" Slot Inserts 1" x 2" x 15 1/2" Backstop 3/4" x 3/4" x 15" - Size to fit after assembly Hardware Cloth 1/8 " x 18" x 14 3/4" - Hem 1/2" all the way around.

    Hi Joe, Really liked this video. Do you think you could make a video of making a 5 frame nuc bottom board? I am not blessed with much of a wood working shop but I do have a router and a skill saw and a few hand tools.Been keeping bees for 3 years and love it. Be Blessed. Dan

    Hi Dan Most 5 frame nucs are 9" outside to outside. I think you can shorten all of your width measurement by 7 1/4" and be fine. Your router and your skill saw should do the job great. thanks Joe

    impressive video for a store buy on here is $60 + taxes and they are cheaply made I will never get all of the bees out of the walls did take some out my beekeeper said they were there for a long time and does hurt the walls too they do not bother me in any way to I do mind them in being there would never know they were there January need to do a repair in equipment for the springtime they parts were done them for January heated the shop up and the bee must have thought it was spring 12 hours the shop was swarming with the bees kept the heat on for them throw the rest of the winter too and feed them too they do eat this morning I open the big door for them to do whatever they want to do this year too and will welcome them back too take 200 hives out I think I hit them hard now and I will very them alone now I did not spray anything back on the wall to stop them from building there again I would not mind if the did the top board was $25 + tax and the beep hives $125 + tax it does add up $225.00 just of one I could do a better job on all of them my uncle send me a big packages of lumber to use to need to be planed only thing but it was free good day planing them all cut them too oversize, for now, I have a wood shop put them on the CNC tables to let it cut all the cuts to did put my logo in each part of the hive I make and number all of them too did frames too that way paint them all too white did take some into my sister in law grade one class to put their paw all over the hives 25 hives got done came home and put the clear coat on top of them had 25 done by a paint club too this time I did charge them to use them they were happy to paint on them to I did have 2 people came out and put up the hive to paint on her 4 of the boxes are amazing they do not mint $25 charge too the bee keep did give the honey too the kids did get the honey to take home did bosts the beekeeper sale of his honey he said he sold out on

    Good for Ventilation, joke for Varroa.. Should lay moisture barrier on ground if use these so moisture don't rise outta ground into hive,Good video on how to build though, I use them,but only for Ventilation purposes...
