Welcome back to Planet Particle Accelerator. Sorry about the issue with the previous upload of this! I wanted to mention that I'll be doing a big boy Giveaway through my Twitch channel soon. A lot of people don't actually know that everything on this channel is edited livestream highlights, so I'm doing it to spread word. A video notice will go up later this week - to enter, you'll need to follow me on Twitch. You'll also be able to follow me on Twitter and join the Discord for bonus entries

If you weighed 170lbs on the start of the roller coaster, you'd weigh 70,903.6 pounds on the most stressful part of the roller coaster. Your body would collapse on to itself until it is blended together. Imagine an apartment building was dropped on you only touching your body and nothing else.

Is it the actual G forces alone or does density of material matter? Either way if you compressed the human bodies 100% efficiently they would still be about ~400 g/cm3, much more than the 160 g/cm3 that the centre of the sun is. Not sure if the coaster would survive or literally go off like a nuclear explosion. Would probably just explode.

the first turn doesn’t kill you it just prevents you from leaving, you will be stuck there until time finally grants you the sweet release of death This is due to the fact that the body can handle extreme amounts of g-force without collapsing or facing any severe or permanent damage and that you won’t die if you spin just breaks it just paralyzes you and forces you to withstand immense quantities of pain, and at some point only dust will remain where bone once were

I think we're fine with saying it won't turn a human into diamond. In fact it's only about 4 times the maximum horizontal g force a human can survive, so we can assume that while it would definitely be lethal in vgs, it might not even be able to rupture arteries. For a close comparison P. denitrificans showed "robust cellular growth" under 403.627 g in an ultracentrifuge, with similar being true of E. coli.

For a bit of perspective here... 417 Gs is WELL BEYOND lethal. Even for less than a second, your bones would literally vaporize and you would basically become dust. Your cellular structure would disintegrate as proteins and fibers are obliterated by the force of nearly an entire full speed passenger aircraft crash straining every part of your body. This level of G-force is almost 58x the force of Apollo 16 on reentry to orbit, 42x the maximum force by a stunt plane, or more than 4x the force of a U.S. Sprint anti-ballistic missile. Not only would this kill you, but especially due to the amount of time you would be exposed to this rollercoaster... You wouldn’t just be dead... You would be DELETED

If you want to know, if an average weight man rode that rollercoaster, he would feel the weight of 37 tonnes applied to every part of his body for a full 20 seconds straight.

I actually did some reading into this, and found that 37 tonnes is roughly the weight of one and most of a second cruise ship anchors. This means that if you weighed this much, you alone could stop something designed to carry people across the ocean with. Now imagine nearly two cruise ship anchors, laying directly on every single part of your body for an extended amount of time.
