Building a Rod Rack for My new Boat.

A quick look at how I built a rod rack for my boat. You can always buy a rod rack but they are expensive and may not fit your boat just right. Building your own you save money and can make it to suit your needs. Thanks for watching and God bless. #monsterrodholders #catfishboat #HGfishing

Hi. Thanks for showing what ya did. I just got my first boat. And all I fo is catfish. I hoping bti get in the cats this year. I was going to go the route of purchasing a rod rack but with how high the price is and me being able to do what you have done. Changing a few things. I'm going to mount onto the bracket for the lund sports track so I can take it off and on for winter storage. I have found a piece of aluminum. To get it shipped to my door and the size I need it to be. It is less than a 100 bucks. The size Size: 3 x 1.498 .258....6160 standard channel You had made a comment that the thickness of your was over kill. Is this adequate in thickness to make a rack out of or doni need to go larger for this piece. Thanks Tommy

I used 1/4 screws, it was supposed to be temporary until I got some rivet nuts but the screws are still holding fine. But I definitely would prefer the rivet nuts over the screws for long term. Thank you for watching👍

I like these because the plastic normally breaks before your line if the sinker gets snagged. ICE SEA 25-50pcs Fishing Line Sinker Slide with Duo-Lock Snap Blue High-Strength Sinker Slider Stainless Steel Snap Kit (Black, 25pcs) www.amazon.com/dp/B07544XQ1V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_g8hrEbE4R2Y1Q
