I really like the black drape idea to be able to have different looks in the one space. I’ll hopefully implement something like that in my new studio space.

Wow man. You’ve probably invested a great deal of money in that studio, it I’m sure it’ll pay off super well. The party was defo a smart thing to do to let your people know that you’re there and ready professionally, even better than before. Big congratulation for this enormous achievement. in English it's a process called 'taping and floating' when you patch the seams of the drywall with tape and mud for a complete finish. It is indeed the worst, but it looks like you guys did a great job!

Congrats on the studio build, Sjoerd! Topside story telling w/effective fast forward clips to keep story moving. “Ultimate” kinda means no room for improvement, but my hunch is that you will make further tweaks as you gain experience with using the space. Always room for improvement😊. As I recall you rented this space, correct? If so, I am surprised you were allowed to make structural changes. Were building code inspections (e.g., for electrical work) a factor in your schedule? Sjoerd, a man of many talents - didn’t know you were a quick change artist, as well😊. Cheers!

Thanks Paul! You have a good point. I changed the title, haha. Yes, we do rent it. We're in close contact with the landlord who is well willing to support us in this build, even financially... Never happened before, lol. I had a bunch of my friends with experience as electricians have a look. It should all be fine and up to standards. Cheers man!

Dit is pas een tweede vlog die ik van je zie, dus ik ga eens even spieken. Hey, thanks for sharing. I am currently building a studio myself. By any chance can you share the measurement of the space you are using for the studio? Length, width and height? The space I want to get looks similar but wanted to compare size to check is it is going to be possible the get as yours. Cheers

Hey man. Sorry for the delayed response. Its about 11m deep, 3.7m high and 5 wide. It has a stairs in the space, so its not 5m all the way. Feel free to send me a text on Instagram if you have further questions!
