I remember everyone making diners using the dining furniture as well as residential areas with hedging around the houses! Also orchards, with every fruit in straight lines, no variations at ALL LOL

I feel like melissa should try and get one of every villager type (lazy, jock, etc) bc thats how we all used to play

I remember many islands in 2020 having DIY/item trading stalls, I think that would be cute for nostalgia! A gyroid growing area, rainbow flower garden, vegetable garden, star gazing area would be great for this island! Excited to see it come along and get ideas for my own island 😊

Sorry in commenting twice, but I’ve been using more in game pathways recently and I love make shapes with the edges. I’ve done hearts, circles, leaf shapes (round opposite edges and leave the others pointed), and even half circles on the sides of straight paths! It’s been lots of fun and shows up on the overhead map 😊

This is so cuuuuuuuuuute! I remember building like this when the game first came out, before I ever thought to look on AC Instagram, lol. :D Marshal is so precious omg, I got him as my campsite villager on my recently restarted forever island and I screamed! 🌰My first favorite villager was Kyle. I still adore him! He was my BFF in ACNL. When ACNH first came out, a very kind person in an AC discord channel helped me find him 😭it was so sweet of them! I have since acquired his amiibo card, and now he can be my BFF forever. At the moment, though, I'm trying to have villagers I've never had before and give them a chance, and let everyone move out who wants to move out and see who I can find on islands. Trying to spice it up and keep it new/different, you know? Molly earns 10/10 beans, she's the most adorable little lass. She got her own lake filled with ducks on one of my islands, bc she's the best girl and she deserves it! Also, I feel your pain trying to do stuff around the villagers. I was just doing a big build and I swear they were all walking around the cliffs I was trying to set up and water I was trying to add, like I love you guys, but GO AWAY 🤣 Looking super forward to seeing what comes next! :D

Hello! Lucky for me, KZread suggested this video and I found it delightful. I’m kind of glad you skipped the tedious very beginning. I was thinking of doing something similar so I’m especially interested in what you’re doing here. I quite like the “normcore” islands that aren’t overly cluttered or hard to navigate. I’ve seen some gorgeous gorgeous builds that would be highly impractical to get around if you’d like to complete the fish or bug collections. The first villager I wound up loving was Lyman. He’s not terribly popular but he was my very very first and was always smiling and always had something nice to say. He was never annoyed when I talked to him (unlike the sisterly who says “you again!”). Now there are a few that I adore including Opal, Celia and believe it or not, Klaus.

Also, I know the villagers were in the way but I’m jealous your villagers actually use what you’ve done. It was adorable seeing them sitting in the areas you made, Molly drinking tea, Marshall sitting at the table with you. Absolutely adorable and through the roof cuteness.

So excited for this! I found your channel through your latest winter advent island so I like the idea of a timed challenge island again! Hamlet was my starter on my very first 2020 island and he's so special to me because of that. He's adorable and makes me smile. Beau and Molly are both on my forever island, a fairytale themed one, so I love seeing them here, too!

For a while it was Juilan. He just randomly moved in one day and I instantly thought he was so cute and unique, but now Curlos has taken his place. Marshal's alright. I get why so many people like him but he's just okay to me. Molly on the other hand gets all the beans. But maybe that's just because ducks are my favorite animal.🦆

Not even halfway into the video, but I HAD to comment some ideas. - Tiki/smoothie bar, maybe on the beach on your peninsula. - Park area with playground items, soccer field, etc. - Sitting/rest area with vending machines, benches, and maybe a park clock. - Fishing areas! This could be great on the beach or the rocks. - A bike parking area, probably by the shops! - For the museum, it definitely has to have fossils or maybe some sort of gift shop. - A lookout/stargazing area. - Villager yards of course, I remember everyone had their yards as the same size, closed in with fencing, and a theme to match the villager's personality or house. - Orchard! Also some items I recommend: Streetlamp Public Bench Signpost/Angled Signpost Plain Wooden Shop Sign Drink/Snack Machine Stall Birdbath Tiny Library Phone Box
