Building a Live Edge Slab Table

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Tables built from live edge slabs are very popular and very beautiful. George was lucky enough to get an amazing hackberry slab in his shop and, with a little help from Triton woodworking tools, he turned it into two lovely tables.

I still use my flexible curve that I used in high school drafting class and that’s over 50 years ago. You don’t see that used very often by woodworkers. I like the portable spindle sander. I think Triton is the only company that makes one. Nice project George.

I find that it doesn't put much dust into the air, so I wear a dust mask when I am cutting and just let the integrated system blow the dust away from the cutting area. I use a shop vac to clean up the area when I'm done cutting. If I used my scroll saw more, I would look into adding something like this amzn.to/3QsTORS and hooking it up to my dust collection system.
