I think one of my BIGGEST fears / phobias is thalassophobia which is the fear of open bodies of water. A good second would probably be trypophobia.

Was NOT expecting my fear to be included! I've had vehophobia for years and it's so bad, it's at the point where I can't operate any form of vehicle at all (including things like amusement park bumper cars). It makes adult life a complete nightmare! It's cool to see it being represented :)

vehophobia is no joke! you're strong for being able to live with it, especially if you live in a country/city that is super reliant on cars. i had a milder version when i was in my teens and everyone i knew was starting to drive. drove me nuts when people were constantly asking about when i'd be getting my license... like no thanks buddy! i feel like the only way i got used to driving was by making myself look forward to it (music mostly helped me) but i still get anxious about certain drives but nowadays i'm doing better about routine commutes without getting the shakes. you are valid and never let others' peer pressure eat you up! some people will never understand that the "freedom of driving" isn't enough to make the fear go away magically. much love, friend! a random pro of vehophobia: carpooling/public transportation is better for the environment😂

Same here! I had a panic attack because of this rollercoaster-type thing where you control your cart. So embarrassed when my bf's lil brother could do it but I couldn't as a grown adult. Bumper cars terrify me. I still have not driven one, even as a kid.

I love when phobias are acknowledged, especially the ones that seem irrational to people who don't suffer them, I have hemophobia (fear of blood) and aichmophobia (fear of sharp objects). They aren't the most common so it can sometimes be hard for others so understand lol. You did an amazing job!

I've got hemophobia also. I feel like some people feel like that fear only applies to serious injuries, but I've had to leave emergency response trainings cause they made me feel faint, sick, and nauseous

I'm strange when it comes to trypophobia. Uneven holes really unsettle me, like ones in mushrooms or open wounds, but even holes, like honey combs and ventilation grating are very soothing to me.

Fears? Heights (especially stairs… I have to be able to hold a railing) and recently I’ve been developing a fear of bridges… especially driving underneath them on the highway. Stay amazing syd! I love your vids!!! Makes me wish I could play sims more and not work all the time 😂❤

you're by far my favorite sims builder, it amazes me how you're able to make any room look good and you can also build in so many different styles

I’m terrified of heights and falling so the tower room is my nightmare. Funny enough I’m not afraid of flying though. And an irrational fear of have is of frogs 🐸. I love frog theme things but not actually frogs I freak out so bad. I just love all your unique builds so much

If you ever do another phobia video, can you do the phobia of butterflies and moths? It's called Lepidopterophobia, I personally have this fear and feel like it needs more recognition. Love your videos btw!

@@OlivReme I’m ok with bees 🐝 I saved one on holiday last year! I also trued to save a wasp… that one didn’t go as planned so my dad had to save it instead lmao also! A bee phobia can also be called apiphobia or melissophobia. I got this from google :)

Im surprised Thalassophobia (fear of deep bodies of water) or Phasmophobia (fear of supernatural entities) didn't make the list. I thought those 2 phobias were extremely common. 🤷‍♀️ Btw the build looks amazing! As someone who has quite a few of the phobias listed in the video, the rooms perfectly describes the phobia and would definitely make me feel a bit anxious being in there. 😅

I have a fear that might be a little weird. I'm not so much afraid of bugs as I am afraid of the sound they make, the flying ones, that buzzing sound that becomes especially loud with really big bugs. I just can't stand it.

Ok, but as soon as you started that observation deck on the 'fear of heights', I felt a pit in my stomach. Great job! The build looks fantastic.

Your video totally made my day. Thanks for another cute and unique build! :)) I have (the irrational) trichophobia / fear of hair. In my case, specifically loose hairs. It used to be a really bad - to an extent where I would not go to sleep before removing every single hair from my bed, because I was convinced I would otherwise choke in them... Luckily, It has become a LOT more manageable. Today loose hairs mainly just disgust me.

This house is so pretty and I love how you incorporated the phobias! Just wanted to mention that trypophobia is at least for me not so much fear of clusters of holes, but more an intense skincrawling disgust when seeing clusters of holes

My fears: agoraphobia- fear of no exit or escape for akarward or over stimulating situations. I am also scared of going outside at night alone. Another fear is being the only person in existence and in a black white void. I also definitely have social phobia just socialization with people without anyone I trust near me idk I hate it it also doesn't help I have social anxiety

that arachnophobia room gave me major anxiety- i have enough fears of spiders in my room as is 💀

I’d love to see a house made by a spinner wheel with different crystal themes ❤ i.e. labradorite for the kitchen, tiger’s eye for the bathroom, etc.

I also have very severe belonephobia... last time I got any shots or any needle remotely close to me was 10 years ago now and I never had a problem before then... I watch needles going into my sister's arm trying to support her for her shots and it freaked me out! It was my turn after, I started panicking so bad and sweating and I just felt horribly sick and I told my doctor and she said it's going to be just fine and they stuck it in my arm and I told her I think I'm going to faint and I remember her saying "you're going to he fine sweetie you can have some candy after if-" and I just blacked out and a few moments later I was slumped on the floor feeling so dizzy and I had to go throw up 😰

Trypophobic here ↗️↗️ !! If you made some holes on the walls that would’ve killed us so thanks for not doing that 😂 Syd you’re amazing as always!

I definitely have the fear of heights and social anxiety hardcore. The trypophobia not so much its more they make me feel uncomfortable.

Gorgeous build 😍 Bugs (irrational fear) & spiders (phobia) (cringed thro the full bedroom) are definitely 2 of my main fears and I can’t stand it!!

Driving is the biggest fear I have that actually gets in my way, however, that kids bedroom is an adorable idea 😊

As a person with arachnophobia, I honestly feel like spiders spawn into people's homes who have that fear. Everyone else is like a spider, where? Meanwhile, I see every web and every spider living in my home rent free wanting to say hi 😭

It’s actually amazing how conceptual and creative Syd is in terms of executing video ideas.

Love that the toddler bed is headed for a head-on collision with the yellow van toy 😄

The kids room, with the car theme?! made me GASP, IT WAS SO GOOD!!!

I love the structure of this house! And thank you for not showing trypophobia, though that eco lifestyle rug is enough to make me uncomfy. On the subject of fears, I once was lying in bed reading at night when I felt something kind of tickly on my stomach. I pulled up the covers and there was a large house spider crawling over my torso. I am usually fine with spiders but not when they're touching me 😭😭

Each sim is a different flower? Like for rose you could do fancy elegant clothes with lots of reds and pinks and for sunflower you could do a more coxy style with yellows and browns that would be cool ❤🌺🌼🌹🌸

For the afraid of flying house I’m happy that you added a swingset because when you’re on a swingset, it does kind of feel like you’re flying and it also kind of reminds me of that thing that that people usually do when you jump off the swing while it’s still in motion and basically you’re flying in the air for a few seconds so the swingset does apply in that way too

You are literally one of the most creative builders out here Syd!! I had to watch you make the spider bedroom from behind my hands! I can't deal with spiders and most bugs - it's mostly the thought of all their little legs! Ughh! I'm scared of the ocean and sea creatures (especially things like crabs and squids), and I'm also claustrophobic - but mostly relating to large noisy crowds which triggers my anxiety.

This was crazy to me lol, I did not realize that I have so many of the top ten fears. (claustrophobia, fear of driving, arachnophobia, fear of heights, fear of failure, and social phobia)

It made me do an other building for my one hundred and thirty-sixth game!! Thanks for the idea! I made all of your CAS sims into my game🤩💖

I also have cherophobia (fear of happiness) I’m afraid when I feel happy or say that I’m that something terrible will happen, and the last one is dromophobia (fear of speeding cars or crossing streets where there are speedy cars, I really struggle with crossing the road as there are no designated places for crossing and very few bridges to use for that purpose where I live 😢

OMG I wasn’t sure what to expect from this house, but I actually totally love it. I think my favorite room is the children’s bedroom that looks like a street. My nephew, who loves cars and things like that would absolutely love that bedroom. Very cool. I would love for you to do a house where you just make a ton of children’s and teen bedrooms. Because you go all out with a theme and I love that.

11:21 I have that phobia too and my teacher had a planetarium so we went in before we went in she asked “is anyone claustrophobic?” Nobody said anything so neither did I and I told my friend “maybe I should have told her I was claustrophobic”

I'm quite glad you made this video. Seeing you do the "top" fears and then doing the fear of driving, really helped me feel better about my own fear of driving. I'm really embarrassed about my fear. I have my license. I know how to drive. But, I have not driven in like three years. I have a panic attack every time I think about sitting behind the wheel. It's a huge frustration in my life. It's something everyone does, so I've always thought a fear of driving was rare... so I'm glad you put it in your video.
