Once you've played for a while and updated the house, can you update us? I'm interested to see how it looks in the future

One thing I do for “future kid” or “spare” rooms when I don’t have enough money is to take out all the stuff and add debug boxes to make it a storage… I mean it’s a starter home so why not have moving boxes, shipping boxes, and crates from packages!

people constantly asks her to do that. I don't think it will be as fun to watch, maybe as a speed build though, but not in one of these live-building videos. part of the fun with these vids is that she struggles with the limitations. think about it, she builds every day, maybe its more fun for her to limit herself as well to keep things challenging. she once did the million dollar mansion though.

Please do more builds with a larger budget and more packs

This house had so much potential if not the budget restriction. Wish she would build it without caring about money

Her default mode is to have a kid’s room and she didn’t even need it

It's rather fun. I did one where a parent and two of the kids owned the vet clinic. I had enough to expand the clinic to another floor. Still could only hire three people, no mods but then I had the other parent train as a vet. Full rooms.

Kayla really needs like a debug column that looks exactly like the Get Together column but base game

The vet career is the least buggy gameplay of any pack, hands down.

For that round part over the front porch, I would either use an awning, or a roof piece that is thin with the eves pulled out, that way it would look like it is an awning. Or maybe you can try a different roof piece like the half-hipped roof piece, or the cone-shaped piece, I think they would have worked better.

Love to watch you build, no matter what it is! Glad you’re going to play for yourself, just for fun!

@@marykatelucas5779 so the best way to force her into making content that YOU specifically enjoy a bit more, is to pressure her by going through every comment and implying how much you dislike her videos (yet you watch them, of course.)

I actually enjoyed this build. Love the look of the outside. Love that a different couch was used. Love the color of the walls. Super cute.

You should do a survey of some sort of your viewers and what expansion packs we own so you know which packs are most likely owned

i really wish you wouldn't put as much of a money cap on these types of videos, or at least just make this w/o caring how much money it is bc you're such a great builder!

Pro tip, always give your pets the independent trait. They ALWAYS run away otherwise. Lol. I'm pretty attentive to pets but if your Sims have jobs and kids as well the attention bar decreases faster than you can keep up with.

honestly i support that decision, cats and dogs is kinda like seasons, brings out a whole new side to the gameplay and fits any type of story plot you wanna make 😄 its really one of the most useful dlcs haha edit: I forgot to say, definitely wait for a sale though, sims dlcs are so expensive its not worth buying unless its like 50% off 😤

i think it would be cool to do builds every once and a while with no limits, we get that you want us to be able to download them but it’s fun to just watch you be creative on your own without being constricted to just base game and one other pack :)

I prefer to use the kids room as a vet working office with some machine and vet decorative and pretend the owner of the house open a home clinic. Also lower the kitchen a little.

The kid’s room should’ve been the living room and the dining table could be where the current living area is. Then make the width of the house smaller. Bingo.

I would looooove if u don’t matter of the budgets … I personally don’t care about starter 😅 But I love the house :)

I'm going to remove the kid's stuff and put in skill-building items. (I usually do that with starter homes since I usually start with one Sim and they need to "level up.")

Kayla I know editing is a-lot of work but any sims content you make I’m sure most of your audience will watch. Off camera gameplay if you want to just play is obviously fine I mean you have a life, but just know your average basic gameplay will always be appreciated if that’s what you feel like filming ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Interesting, I just came back to the Sims from another hiatus and I started with a teen alone in a tiny home in Copperdale. She met her partner and they're both in university now and my goal for main Sim is to be a vet. No degree is required for that career path but I need the realism tbh lol. I love to see old packs revisited, especially to remind me what's in the build/buy catalog

Your vet sim not being able to afford furniture is the realest part of this build. Your vet sim not having a fenced in back yard for the chaotic pack of dogs they will soon own is the least real part of this build.

Have fun playing! I think I've said this before but I made my Not So Berry Gen 5 gal a Vet instead of a Medical Doctor and I really enjoyed it. I've played the Medical Doctor career before and didn't enjoy it AT ALL. The bet career was a lot of fun. I think its a good starter home. If I was to try and use it for play I'd remove the shutters and get a better bed but I get what you were going for from a looks perspective.
