    @@neilsmart78 im a sparky in an iron ore mine in western australia, summers are pretty relentless dont usually get below 44 during the days. Its nice now tho everyday sits around 29

    I’ve used “greedy” boards before clearing houses. All the internal doors lining the skip to give you extra height. Got lifted. More strict now, usually has that man united players name on them, Phil Level.

    Great video stu. How do you know when the brick is the right way? Obviously the lines go to the back, but is there another mark to show this should be top side of the brick? If.you get me

    Hello. Where is the ventilation gap between the insulation and the brick? Where is the ventilation hole in the brickwork for air flow to drain the brick? Is it convenient to scatter concrete with a rake?) There are special combs for this. Pour concrete with wheelbarrows? I thought in England the mechanization was at the level ... At least they would make a gutter and pour concrete through it into the far part. Здравствуйте. Где вентиляционный зазаор между утеплителем и кирпичом ? Где вентиляционное отверстие в кладке кирпича для притока воздуха, что бы осушать кирпич ? Раскидывать бетон граблями удобно ?) Для этого есть специальные гребёнки. Заливать бетон тачками ? Я думал в Англии механизация на уровне... Хотя бы жёлоб сделали бы и по нему сливали бетон в дальнюю часть.

    Looks like it was a 3 quarter on the left that got laid as a stretcher instead so the bond steps.....well spotted mate👍

    Hi Stu I went to college to learn bricklaying and passed my level 2. Ever since leaving college I have struggled to get on site as a bricky I am now 32 I have about 7 years experience under my belt by do odd jobs here and there doing extensions, conservatory bases, garden walls etc but I can never get on site and I don't know why could you help please? Love all your videos mate keep up the great work 👍

    try to work with larg construction company even if the bay is low once they realize your work is good than you can negotiate at your terms

    I was wondering if the insulation in the middle is necessary. Is it because the Customer asked for it? Won't the Outer and Inner walls alone be enough?

    In the past (before the 80s for sure, I don't know when they changed) they built homes with the wall cavity left empty. They weren't warm. It wasn't until the 90s (?) that people started pumping insulating foam into them to help reduce their thermal conductivity.

    @@Stucrompton1 The tray should be 1 course above the lintel on boxes as the weeps will discharge behind the lip of the box at top when fitted.

    probably just a standard mix, it's not really doing anything structural.

    I dont know about a well oiled machine, I bet the time Dave was bent over like that, when he got home he'd need a good rub down with an oily rag, just like an old lathe!

    Are you trust other people to laying bricks were you work? If they have expierence, thats okey but if its not, they could do worst or reject or spoilage (i don't know how you say in Britania).

    @@stevehorrill5755 a perfect mix consists of: above DPC - 5 sand to 1 cement / below DPC 3 sand to 1 cement and use plasticiser to make it more malleable.

    The 4,23 part of my original comment is referring to the part of the video where it shows the ready mix being dispensed.. If that's what's confused u brother👍

    I use 9:3:1 sand,lime,portland on older historic homes.Otherwise it is 3:1 ,sand,pre-blended commercial masonry cement for new builds or 2:1 for tuckpointing
