Great idea!!
Thanks for showing and discussing the corner details. Excellent result.
Love this show
Biscuits - Norm would be so proud! ;) Thanks for the easy-to-follow steps and good explanation.
Good job, Phil! I've never heard of the G & G frame before, but has inspired me to try one of my own. It would be perfect for one of the many black/white photos my dad took back in the 40's that have been stored. Thanks for the idea.
Really beautiful work, dude! Amazing looking frame! 😃 I may try something like that! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Thanks! You too!
cool
Really nice job Phil. I love G & G projects and have always been a fan of their architecture. Trying to decide if I should build this and frame my Ron Underhill photo or maybe get a photo of The Gamble House for a frame like this?
What wood was the accent pieces? Did you square them up in to sticks or did they come squared up?

Phil used Wenge on this frame and we used Ebony on the original frame featured in the magazine. Walnut would be a good contrasting wood if you were looking for a domestic species for the plugs. We cut the pieces from larger workpieces, but I wonder if you could find pen blanks in that size.
Nice frame, little bit to much for me

Fair enough. Greene & Greene is fairly ornate so not for everyone. 👍
