Building a Ghostbusters Belt Gizmo with lights!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I combine 3D modeling, 3D printing, 2D design, leather working and other building techniques to create a replica of the belt gizmo from Ghostbusters. Below I will post links to everything I used in my build.

nerdyviews yeah, that made it pretty easy! My spirit PKE meter should come today and I’m going to try and make a holster for it like this also.
Great Build.

Did you separate out the microchips yourself to print those stand-alone or did you find files somewhere?
Hi heres a question, i got my white belt and want to get it grey and im asking myself if it takes spray paint well

Leon der Wasabiknilch don’t paint it, use fabric dye. That’s how I did mine.
Where did you get the little blinking ghostbuster symbol light?
@JustSomeNerd

That is actually a freebie that I got from a Red Cross blood drive or something like that. I sanded off their logo & put a ghostbusters sticker on it. Unfortunately it’s since been broken. :(
Cool.. how are you?
What kind of 3D printer did you use?

I have a CR-10s & a Monoprice Maker Select Plus. Both are nice printers that I'd recommend. amzn.to/2zmd8sd amzn.to/2DmotfU

Have you had any problems with it? I watched some vids on it, it looked awesome. Some people had problems with it though.

I’ve not really had any issues, but it’s a printer you need to baby a little bit. I’ve made a few small mods on mine, but nothing much. I don’t really push mine that hard. A lot of people who have issues, have them running 24/7.
Do you make these for commission?
@JustSomeNerd

Christopher Niceley I have not before, but if you are interested I might be willing to taken a commission. It’s a time intensive project so I’d have to change around $200. You can shoot me a message on Facebook if you’re interested.
Where did you get the lights?

What kind of filament do you use? Do you use the manufacturers filament?
@JustSomeNerd

The filament is PLA. I have a link in the description to the clear PLA I used. It can be used for all of the parts.

Hey I’m about to post my ghost trap upgrade video, but I’m going to post it on my new channel, D-props.
Awesome job I'm part of a group called the retro gaming Ghostbusters in Pennsylvania check us out on Facebook
"I wanted to make this with things I had laying around", 3D prints most of it...
in 2018 thats not very impressive. sime simple work with adafruit tutorials could yeild something much more functional and close to the comics.

I feel the opposite. The fact that it is more technologically advanced than the originals is off putting to me.
