I like the pebbles mixed it will look amazing,I'm surprised Sherrie hasn't taken them ,how about plants in pots and when you feel like a change you can bring in different ones,herbs for cooking will also be great and some herbs repel insects love the chandelier, great progress

You should put the chandelier wire on the back side of the beam so you don't see it. I am rewiring my house ceiling 20 feet high on a ladder because they didn't hide the wire.

Looking fabulous! I do agree though, that the design with the pebbles around the fountain is too busy! Way better to softly mix them, or even better to keep it more relaxing, just use lovely the stone you covered the rest of the patio with, but break them into pieces that would fit the round circle design. There's already a lot of "busy" with the stone patio and the stone and very white walls of the summer kitchen. Just my opinion, but I know you will think it out, and in the end, it will look amazing just like everything else! 🤗

I love your ideas for the courtyard. I watched videos last year on KZread (under Project Portugal) Nick build a Portuguese calcada in his courtyard and I think you could borrow an idea from his design, he bordered in dark stone and had mainly white stone but inset some small simple shapes in little black stones to represent some animals relevant to their farm. You could do something similar for example a dragonfly, a dog ( for Cherie) a rose/flower or other things relevant to you. Just an idea. I know whatever you decide it will be beautiful.

Amazing! I was wondering if you have weep holes drilled into the mortar between the rocks at the base of your summer kitchen stone walls? These will direct the water to the drain and not randomly through the wall. Once drilled, scrub the base of the wall and see if it makes a difference. Good luck!

Your new fountain is really shaping up nicely. Here in the states you can find boxwoods that remain small. I don’t know if you have an option like that. I would think agapanthus would get too big, even though I love them. I know whatever you plant will be beautiful. I love the lakeside restaurant. We have our trip to Italy planned and will be in Cernobbio the middle of September. Can you suggest any restaurants that have lakeside dining similar to what you showed? We are traveling with our lifelong friends and are looking forward to making wonderful memories! ❤️😊

If it's too high, will it illuminate enough for your needs?

I like the chandelier there but personnaly I would have altered the white electrical wire etc. for brown, bronze or black. Maybe you're planning to cover it with something so that it's less visable.

I totally agree, but we have just this cable at the time. Anyway It's semi-temporal solution as next year we will paint this ceiling and reinstall the chandelier. But at least this white cable matching the other external light cables in our house. :)

@@sergio.i Yep, we had a thunderstorm too just half an hour ago. My family and I always stayed the school summer vacation at the Tuscany coast. I loved it and had many friends there. No tourists from other countries back then, only a few German families here and there. My parents wanted to be sure that the weather was nice and warm. In all those years we had only two times a storm. Both times It lasted three days and after that it was blue skies again. ❤

Yes, I am waiting for the spare bulbs and dimmer to finish installation tomorrow, but it already works (with only 1 bulb)

@@lindamounts2193it is confusing, isn’t it. Why would they (AI has no conscience) spoil the darling song by including a curse? Sergi has explained that it only ‘sounds’ like GD. To me, it would be better to remove the close sounds. Why allow a ‘slip of the tongue’ to upset concerned friends.
