Building a F-35B Lightning II Italeri/Tamiya 1/72
In this video I will show you how I built the F35B Lightning II from Italeri... although it's been re boxed and rebranded by Tamiya.
I really enjoyed this build, there was no fit issues and it went together beautifully. There's a few inaccuracies but I won't lose any sleep.

Thank you. It was a great kit, the stealth tape masks took ages, but was worth it.
Thanks for the video. It was perfect! I was just wondering how long it took to fully complete the model? Also what mm airbrush did you use to prime the model?

Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. I think it took me about 8 weeks to make on and off. I used a .4mm needle and a .2mm needle for the fine work. Hope this helps you.
Can you adjust the canopy, vents, wheels and engine or are they still in place

They’re fixed as you see them, but you have the option to have them closed when you construct it. Unfortunately it’s one or the other.

Is it possible to not use the airbrush at all? I mean only using brushes for the entire model.

Yes absolutely. I would recommend a Tamiya spray can for the primer and if possible a spray can for the main body parts, but if you just want to stick to a brush then I’d recommend flat brushes to help with the finish, but again that’s not essential. There’s a KZread channel called QuickKits who has some good brush painting tutorials for scale modellers. He hasn’t posted for a couple of years but the videos are still relevant. Hope you try it and have fun! Tom
what airbrush and compressor you use?

The airbrush is a Harder and Steenbeck Ultra and I’m not sure on the compressor sorry. Cost me about £100 from Amazon if that helps.
use your first finger for more contole of the air brush , not the thumb!!!!!!

I’ve tried it, doesn’t work for me. I prefer the thumb!
Hi 45, I'm not familiar with this kit. Your walk through and explanations are fantastic. You conveyed the info very clearly. I like your style and approach to modeling. Also, this video is well made. Quality filming, editing and sound are all very well done. I fully support your growing channel. See you again dude.
