Terrific progress, lovely idea for a fountain. You may want to hold off, on any more plants. You have created a "cocoon" effect, which is assisting the slugs. There is not a single ounce of ground that is not covered! This has made a breeding ground for the slugs! Go back to the charity shop from eons ago, see if the long metal window box is still there. You could attach this to the house, near the summer kitchen and grow all your edibles in planters, out of the slugs reach.

I agree, I was going to suggest to Alla, to put them in planters and put them on the upper balconies so the slugs can't reach them.

or a raised bed garde with copper netting on the sides prevents them from getting in.

Agree you need to give the existing plants enough space to mature. Most roses are at least a metre across and if too crowded will not develop a good shape and be prone to diseases.

It will be connected through smart switch automatically turning it on and off by schedule for the dark time we are not sleeping. Bulbs are just 2w - so it won't affect nature or electric system dramatically - much less than horror streetlights above on the road.

That is an odd place for a fountain! It will block the flow and you'll lose a good spot for a dancefloor at your parties...

Sometimes you can't have everything without losing something, I think the something you are losing is the freedom from slugs. Too much crowding and not enough proactive stand on slug control. Pretty but slug heaven.
