My mom had a 280z, watching this brought back great memories of the fun we had driving it. Great work and finished result.
Phenomenal work. The fender mirrors got me here cause I just picked some up for my Puma. The Z looks phenomenal. Living the T-tops.
Your car is absolutely stunning dude. Few years from now I'm looking to start collecting & restoring Zs. Your video has given me hope.
That is such a beautiful car! I'm glad you put so much time and work into that Z so you could enjoy it! Also, thank you for saving it from where it was before!

Thanks Noah. The R32's are great, but there's just something about these old Japanese cars that are so fricken cool! So much character.
I’ve been wanting one of these cars since i was 5 yrs old. Excellent, excellent work and very impressive! $1,500 is a steal! Nicely done!
I just acquired a 280 almost in the exact same condition. I don’t have much knowledge on fixing these kinda things. It’s how I actually found this video. It’s encouraging to see that it is possible to fix it.

As do I! Thanks bro
I like this build a lot, it first bothered me that you didn't remove the rust completely the first time, and used fibreglass to "repair" the holes. however, I think you had in mind to respray and redo the bodywork anyway so now I don't mind. I hope you did use epoxy primer ;) as a rusty car owner myself, I know the importance of preventing rust lmao. last weekend I had in mind to repair a little rust hole under my door, that turned out to be half a car length of rust... which I had to cut out, haven't had time to patch the hole, but I did already clean the inside of rust and used Epoxy to seal the inside for preventing rust. love the car, paint has a few imperfections, but really good for a home sprayed car.

So inspiring. I have this same car but I got mine for $500USD. It’s rust free and paint and body is premium. Only issue is someone jacked the wheels and tossed a log through the front window. It is coming home to me on Monday and I hope mine looks as half as good as yours. The inside of mine is red and silver outside. But that blue is epic.

Agreed. These are the tyres that came on the wheels. I’ve been looking for wider tyres, not actually very easy to find in 16’s! Thinking I’ll go 235 instead of the current 215 👌🏻
Excellent work. Could you tell me the size of the tires? Thank you very much

I clicked on this and got an idea to replace the wheel flares. Instead of the black rivet look over each wheel well, I figured out a way to give it the wide look, without screwing a flare over each wheel. The car would have same look on the body as yours without having the screw on flares look- thanks bruh!
