Watching these vids gives me the itch to go hunt for pre owned clubs. When he said he “wants to feel pain” that resonated with me on another level
This is such a great series!!
The thing I love about this series is it's like a trip down memory lane for me seeing some of these clubs. I'm only 35, but my very first set of clubs I bought at a yard sale to start getting into golf when I was 13 was those Wilson Staff Fluid Feel irons. Only cost me $10 for a 2-9 iron and a Wilson Staff putter. Ended up getting a Callaway Big Bertha driver a couple Callaway fairway woods and some assorted wedges from my grandfather in Canada. I loved those things and saved up for two years to buy a new full set of Tour Edge Reaction II clubs when I joined my high school golf team. I still play those Tour Edge clubs to this day. Only ever upgraded the Driver, Wedges and Putter over the years. One of these days I'm going to get a nice full set of TaylorMade or Cobra, sans the putter as I can't give up my Ping Anser 4

I play with my Dad's set of Titleist DCI 962Bs. Pain in the ass sometimes but when you pure one, best feeling in the world.

I had the Titleist PT-13 & the PT-15 (which I preferred) back in the day... Those are the ones that Tiger originally used before Titleist reissued them as the 970...
My bag is close. Titleist DCI 781 irons (4-PW), Titleist 975F 14,5° 3-wood, Titleist DTR SW, Raw Vokey 256 12 56° wedge, Cleveland CuBe 60° and a PING Anser putter from back in the day.
Those Titleist 962 were my first ‘real’ set
I grew up playing 962B irons and had a 983k as well! Man I wish I still had those clubs

What kind of launch monitor are you using?
I got lucky being left handed and finding a full set of Nike irons brand new for cheap because the Golf Store couldn’t sell them. Obviously Nike isnt callaway, ping, mizuno etc.. but for someone starting off they are healthy enough to learn with and not be out there with complete trash.
I have a Set of Titliest 962 irons and wedges with 1 Titliest 3Wood and got the original bag and set for 100$
