A few tarps on the ground along the back walls staked into the hillside and tacked to the back wall, shaped like a funnel will both keep water away and you can catch it in containers or pipe it to the tank by the house.

Hello Robert, Nice to see you finish the cabin. It will be enough space for a workshop. Will you put something under the woodstove to protect your wooden floor? When your workshed/ cabin is ready, you can use the other room in your house for some other use. Are you then building a bedroom or is that room for other use? Greetings from the Netherlands😉

Yes, I will put a sheet under the oven. That room in the house will be the living room. When I finish the pallet cabin, I'm going back to renovating this room. Thank you Vivian

@@klerobi1 you can run one 3×2.5mm cable to the cabin and add distribution box, then connect one switch,few lights and few outlets to that distribution box.

Would using house-wrap on back of shack and then attaching siding prevent cold air from coming through the wall? Also, good to see warm weather for you.
