    When I first found this channel, i literally sat there and watched like 6 hours of these videos. I know nothing about building or maintaining these engines, but it's super interesting watching you do it. You seem like you have alot of knowledge on them and you bust your ass. I think you underestimate how much people actually like your videos.

    Not boring at all! Many of us do not get the opportunity to do this, for whatever reasons.... I appreciate how you do not use stupid music during your explanations. You show true professionalism in my opinion. I also appreciate how brief you are, you would make a good instructor/teacher!

    Dan O, I agree, I like seeing a master working at his or her craft. As I was a diesel mechanic in the 70's, I like all of the new materials/processes in the assembly. No electronics inside the engines I worked on back then.😁 Best wishes all, stay safe and warm.

    One thing I notice that separates you from other builders is how much more slow and methodical you are, as well as organized. I’d feel very confident buying an engine from someone such as yourself. Keep up the great content and work.

    Just hearing that DD brought tears to my eyes. Why I drove one for 3 years in the 90's for my first boss. I drove a 238 Detroit and a 318 DD powered truck. My wife thinks that is why I am deaf in my left ear. What did she say she was on my left side.

    @@1986f250diesel I’ve seen some invoices from our companies towing division and if you have to call the rotator and clean up a spilled load of steel or whatever it can easily be upwards of 30k, and that’s being modest.

    I watch these because my state has run all of these beautiful things out of it. Everything is a Cummins or a Volvo now, few random PACCAR engines and I think I saw like one new Detroit. I miss the Caterpillars.

    Love to see how neat and clean also organized you keep everything on your builds. I have worked in fleet shops and dealers where under the truck (inframes) would be all oil antifreeze and oil dry till it went out the door. Not me, my jobs had to look surgical. Floor clean and dry, engine clean and dry... parts laid out like how you do it. I couldn't do it any other way. Took heat from all my "grease monkey' co workers for "wastin time" bein so clean, but I was proud to work that way... Makes a huge difference. Jus' sayin'

    I like these videos, these C-15s are what i run, I had Wayne Supply do one of my engines, about ten thousand in the front gears let go, they stood behind them, and believe it or not they are down again, I was there studying what the hell was going on, just happened to move the balancer, it rattled, It got a new one, about 30 thousand in , doing good.

    Agree with slo dsl - videos are not boring ! They are all meat no bun ... keep ‘me coming. Glad they are not an hour but jam packed with highlights and your very real and succinct explanations. Many of us enjoy you dry humor and the Bravia and Butthead style antics of driving around the yard.

    I know I’m dating myself, but goddamn if I don’t love the sound of that Detroit. I used to haul sugar with one from 79-84. 13 gears and the pacific coast to go with that sweet song from Santa Maria down to Vernon, Ca. Some of the best memories I could cram into five years.

    love your videos man, i have watched each and every single video at least twice each. this is my second time rewatching this one. im 19 and am soon going to college to become a diesel mechanic. ik college isn’t the best way to go with this industry but in my situation it the best option, thank you for all the inspiration 👍👍💯💯💯

    My cousin’s oldest is a diesel mechanic. 22 years older wrenching on John Deere’s, no debt, driving a F350 6.7 and a $20,000 Honda Talon for fun. I wish I’d been doing that good when I was 22. It’s a good industry, always in demand. Wish you all the best!
