Building a Boutique Headless Guitar - Dark Art Guitars "Alchemist"
Ғылым және технология
Another Alchemist build is complete! This one takes a lot of inspiration from my original Alchemist build but takes it to a whole other level. I am very happy with how it turned out and almost sad that it is leaving my workshop for a new home.

Artistry of her majesty.
Beauty! You have invested many years in developing your tooling. Now it is paying off!!
A masterpiece of a guitar!!! 🎸🤟🏻🔥
it my dream guitar
Wow, cool process. Did you learn all the steps by yourself?

Yea, pretty much. A lot of KZread videos and some books helped me along the way.
Looks like you have a really nice workshop setup there now, nice!! Is just glue enough to hold the neck onto the body?
@DarkArtGuitars

Plenty. The glue itself is stronger than the wood around it. Many companies like Gibson, etc have been using that technique for decades.
Those threaded inserts are such a quality touch!!! For the humbuckers, did you use an imperial size or M2.5?

I used M3 and drilled out the threads.
So glad I subscribed. This stuff is awesome, I'd like to be doing something like this. Maybe with extended range basses...

That's also a really cool field, so many possibilities. If I was a bass player I'd probably be doing sth like that. Maybe someday :D
What tremolo bridge is that?

Nova Guitarparts. Normally they are black, but you can order custom colors or chrome plating.
Super guitar! Are you selling it?

@@DarkArtGuitars Hello ! What wood is the neck of the Alchemist #1 guitar made of? And what is the cost of such a neck?
@DarkArtGuitars
3 ай бұрын
That neck, just like this one here is Wenge/Maple/Padauk/Maple/Wenge. This costs an extra 50chf when ordering a custom. I don't sell just the necks by themselves if that's what you're asking.@@maksbrenon5424
