@@timberlinetactical I don't claim to be a expert, if I'm not anonymous idiots complain about my looks 🤤 Bug in bag? Do you even know what you talk about? Is it that many 'what if' really? Mostly it's 'this you will need' and 'this is hard to replicate in the field'. No one is forcing you to have a b.o.b mister. Only put important documents in the box? Better to use a fork binder. From car to house is a get home bag. It's not a edc if you don't carry it every day in car or not. The cool guy stuff? Are you really that shallow? That explains alot. You have the tourniquet inside the bag? Not easily accessible?? And you where a soldier right? You are not supposed to use stuff from your bag when you are at home, you know that right? Paracord as a zipper handle? How long is that? A couple of inches? Otherwise it looks strange and you risk you safety (gray man). You don't need to defend your choices! Quite a big difference between duct tape and medical tape.. Better to use a headlamp than a flashlight. 🤷‍♀️ Did you say "eight balls of bottles of water"?

@@bjornanderson3645 the simple lack of ability you seem to have in basic comprehension explains why you think things are wrong. Don’t have time to go explain everything to someone that can’t write coherent sentences or take the time to understand simple concepts in the video. Also a tourniquet doesn’t have to be on the outside of a bag to be readily accessible. Soldiers are actually carried inside their IFAK. Mine is prepped and I have access to it in less than 4 seconds. The 550 cord is 25 feet. More than enough to handle minor tasks.

Yeah.. I live in the woods, only way I'm leaving is if theres a wild fire.. And I have family & pets, who are these phyco's who run to the woods by themselves..? And then I'm buggung out to a shelter, most of these shtf bags are if a giant rock hits earth and all law and order are gone; in America, short of a asteroid, I think its a bit much..😕

Lost my first house to a fire. Second house to catastrophic flooding not seen since Katrina (at that time, 2011). Raging waters up to the peak of the roofs on 2nd story homes. Utter destruction. Entire houses and trailers floating down the river. It was a "no flood zone." Had National Guard rifles pointed at me. Hot mess. But that's my luck. We had to forcefully bug out, obviously. You must not live in Northern winters... then you'd understand the need for some bulky winter gear in tow, even if you had access to a shelter (which sounds like a self-defense nightmare, reminder again about what happened to folks in public shelters during Katrina.) If the event is big enough and catastrophic enough, a slightly inconvenient camp out in the mountains for some time to let the crazy pass is much better than messing around the general public. We do have rural, pre-planned bug out locations with like-minded friends as well.

Well. I think you are confused. The two most common situations are currency collapse and nuclear war. Both situations will create roving bands of marauders. People are being shot in Venezuela in the airport. They had a currency collapse. Getting away from people and heading into the woods has happened all through history. Viking populations grew but they had little farm land to feed their people. They took to marauding and pillaging. You think people in urban areas won't raid the suburbs if they have no food? Why do you think people from North Africa are invading Europe as we speak. This was because of currency collapse. When the Normans invaded England did not resistance fighters head into the woods? A pepper that does not read history is like a fish that can't swim in water.

Im not confused at all... How did you come to the conclusion that those are the most common? seeing as we have never had a nuclear war it's difficult to speculate with an accuracy. I would say the most common are hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes etc. As they happen far more which is objectively true. Vikings absolutely farmed, you should go to Iceland and study more of their history rather than watch movies with vikings. There's not many examples of people bumping off into the woods and having it go well for them. Regardless that has little to do with vikings pillaging and pirating. Also I never once said people won't come from urban to suburban areas. In fact Id argue they will do exactly that but actually more so to rural areas since that is what happened in Venezuela and Argentina.
