Back in the 1940s, when a man wanted a carpenter job, he would first have to make a pair of saw horses with let-in legs and braces. After my dad past that test he was made a sawyer, sawing boards for a big barn. Make or break. And he used to tell me, "Gerry, there are teeth on both ends of that saw blade"! I finally became a carpenter, and out of four boys, warned not to be one, my dad told me, "I'm glade you became one. His best compliment to me.... Gerry, you work like I used to!" High praise!

Concrete mixer is a marvel in simplicity, mix mud one direction, reverse switch, empty mixer.

Love the highly detailed floor plans, lol, but I have worked on jobs with less information! Great to keep all the historical elements of the central area, beautiful timber framework. A nice build all-round, well done saving part of your history.

中国のハウス建築動画を見るたびに思うのですが、風合いのあるきれいなレンガをどうしてセメントで塗りつぶしてしまうのか、、、。残念でなりません。 構造上のちゃんとした理由があるのでしょうが、レンガの見た目の良さを残す方法はないものか。レンガの好きな私はいつもそう考えてしまいます。日本 にはレンガを構造材に使うことはまずないですね。地震大国ですから。中国がうらやましい。I am a Japanese old man.

If I had a woman on my crew that works as hard as the woman in this video, I could cut a couple of my helpers. Even great grandad works as much as he can. With almost 2 billion people they have plenty of workers, and they aren't lazy, that's for sure..hey, pop Sickles all around!

窗户太小，敞亮不了。南方又不是太冷，窗户大大的甚至是落地窗多好！盖一回新房不容易，整的阴森森的感觉，白瞎了那么多银子。
