What an amazing build. It's rare to see someone go with forge pistons and build up the internals on these motors before they add boost. Very excited to see what the outcome of this project looks like. Nice work guys!

My 4age is balanced block. Decked hea d and block to raise comp. Tons of head porting and matching the headers. Pon cams? Idk what it means but that's what I was told by the shop that had it built. Whole thing balanced to .001g fully assembled, cams were even balanced. The shop had it running at 13k rpm but I have it limited to 9200 so I can bash limiter all day long and never have issues. 3 years daily drifting with monthly bashings at the track, 2 years as a track only NA hero. Now in a clean shell and running cherry. I'd suggest having a shop do an insane balancing job on your crank. Help you Rev out that 4.5L a lot higher.

Very similar to a build I'm doing at the moment, spool rods JP pistons, cometic, arp studs etc. running a 3582r turbo, aiming for 800+hp after a trans upgrade around 400 for now. The guide that the tensioner pushes on is called the Swingarm Guide. I also put the new liner on the old guide as my aftermarket one was sh1t.

Thats a pretty big ask for a 3582 through LC driveline! We are shooting for a cool 400hp with this one. 👌 we are also keen as hell to see how it sounds and the torque it produces!

Hi guys. I'm in the process of a biuld with my 62 series Landcruser. To be power by a 1FZ-fe fitted with a M30 Supercharger pumping 17lb boost if possible. Toyota made 3 different types of heads for the 1FZ-fe engine. 1 been a variable timing cam head. That was only serplyed in Afghanistan's Toyota Landcruser's. A performance intake manifold for a 2 J will fit as I have one here for my own 1FZ-fe Supercharger engine Biuld. I'd like to talk more if that ok.

LS horsepower costs way less than 1FZ horsepower. My entire 600HP LSA cost $2k less than my 400HP turbo 1FZ build alone, I already had the 1FZ. That said, the 1FZ is more entertaining to drive, the BOV on an 80, never gets old, the screamer pipe on the waste gate had to go, too obnoxious for everyone.

@@BoostGumps I have a turbo 1fz with 280k miles on it (5k since turbo). I just thought it would make sense to put in better valve springs and cams to get more rpms if it's a manual. I forgot that the old pistons were toast

@@MegaGingerpimp yeh for such a heavy car and auto we felt the gains wouldn’t be worth the cost of aftermarket cams. For our power goals a standard rod+piston combo would probably be fine, but they needed replacing anyway so now we can be confident that we will never hurt it 👍
