Building 2 Big Wave tow-boards!
2 weighted tow boards we made for our friends and local chargers Nissan and Micah. Vibrant magenta resin tints with 3 layers of fiberglass on both sides. Both boards ended up weighing between 15-18bls. each.

Nice work..15-18Lbs will smash through all of the bump nicely before dropping in!
So interesting that big wave boards add bbs for weight

On big waves the extra weight gives the rider more stability and control.

There’s so much water traveling up da face, ya gotta have extra ballast, to use gravity to try and defy the wave not letting you in/down the face. Not having the extra length (tow board) which uses the drag of board to get ya in when paddling. 🤙

Similar, but this is fiberglass cloth.
