Creating a website in Canva is so easy

I love your channel, great content as always. My question is how can I use this design to share it with developers as if it was made with figma for example and let them know font styles and sizes, margins, exact colors etc.

I've had this website for one year. I wish it had more pages not just one. I wish I could use it for a blog. The visuals are nice though. One large page takes longer to load. Overall, nice but room for improvement.

Unfortunately this is not possible as this is an embed video. If you upload the video directly to Canva, you'll then be able to put it in a frame

As a full time web designer being one of my company’s main services I have to say super impressed Canva offers all of this (and the auto responsive design wow)! Curious for us Pro user if we use our own domain is it just giving us the Canva hosting name servers and or IP address for the domains @ record? Great video Diana!

I'm not completely sure what Canva gives you when you host their website on under your own domain. We've tried in the past, but it wasn't a straightforward process. I know some people who have managed it though ... Sorry I wish I could be more precise 😅

I did some digging and this is what Canva says re. your question: Do you want to connect your own domain to Canva? If yes, they can follow the steps here: www.canva.com/help/publishing-websites-own-domains/ You will be given records that you need to add to your domain host’s DNS settings for the domain to fully connect to us. Hope that helps!

Hi again, thanks so much for this very helpful content! I am hoping you can help with an extended question, please! My preference is to 1. design the website in Canva (simple, beautiful designs), 2. connect the website to my own domain (Go Daddy) as the 'shop window' to 3. Kajabi - where I'm planning to house my education platform (I know I could create the website in WordPress or Kajabi but I don't they look as good). ** But I am unsure how I go about 1. integrating plug-ins like cookies consent on the site (I am UK based so need to be GDPR compliant), 2. where they need to go - Canva, GoDaddy and/or Kajabi, and 3. whether I need to add them at all or if Canva/Go Daddy and/or Kajabi do it automatically??? Sorry for all the cookies chat - it's VERY confusing!!!! Thank you in advance re. any advice you can share : ) ** PS. If there is an easier way to manage the above, please do share!!!

You could try embedding a Spotify or Soundcloud link to your website. Do so via the “Embed” App in Canva.

You can create the button, but there’s no auto translation of all the content for websites. Like Canva will not create a different website in another language automatically. That, technically, could be achieved though, by creating another similar website in the other language, and linking it to the first one via the button.

Free website function wasn't available before? I thought I've created something 2 years ago. Is there any difference between the one you introduced here and the function that they have had before?

You are right, Canva websites are free and were introduced about two years ago. This is just a new tutorial, with a new website project. The feature is not new 😊. The tutorial is.

Hey Michael, in order to do that, you'll need to host your PDF somewhere first (like Dropbox, G-Drive, ...) and get the link. Then, simply create a button in Canva and add that link to it 👌

When we do changes to the already published website, it changes the link. Does it mean that our clients may need to use the new link and the older link doesn't show the updated contents of our website??

I believe you can create a payment link on PayPal and then add it to a button on your website. Hope this helps!

Make sure you are using a Canva Website document, otherwise via the "Share" button > Website.

Nop, I created this website with a canva free account and a free canva domain. You can have up to 5 live websites on your free domain :)

Hey there, technically, yes. But like Crystal says, these are not robust websites, but rather landing pages. The problem with creating them for clients in Canva, is that, so far, you cannot share them as templates. Which means, if you create them with your Canva account, there's no way you can then transfer that to your clients. When they'll need to update their website, they'll need to go through your account.

I still went ahead and ask Canva your question, this is what they say: "Right! You can buy 5 different domains from one Pro user for your customers at Canva. This is how people usually do in such cases."

Great suggestion, I could add this feature in a next tutorial. To answer your question, you can go to Apps > Search por Google Maps > search the address > add the map with the address to website

So here is a question if Canva holds the copyright to all of the elements in its app, you will never have the right to control what you do with your design
