very clever design. you should consider applying for a patent and selling design to Werner for a few million.

Nice build. But, you probably need to replace the top rung of the ladder with square steel tubing maybe 1/8" thick. Otherwise, with any load the top rung will bend and eventually break.

If that’s the case, then anyone over 150lbs going up the ladder would break a ladder rung. If he doesn’t go over the weight limit of the ladder it should be fine. Maybe for piece of mind put a solid piece of angle across the top so it doesn’t pull in on itself. If your lifting anything 100lbs or under it should work flawlessly without damaging the ladder imo.

With the ladder at that angle sitting on concrete if you lift the shingles past the fascia it will kick out. Nice design tho

It is true that you can only use it in a period of 2 minutes and you must let it rest for a period of 8 minutes to be able to use it again.?

You'd have to buy a 40' ladder. I use a 40' ladder for a scaffolding plank I put a 20' wood plank on top. I just wouldn't have more than 1 person on it at a time, but that's all I do for professional planks as well. It's always been very sturdy and I can do a 40' walk way near the roof edge.
