William McCallum WZ5W gives a presentation on how to build an antenna. Hands on class will be 12 March 2022 at the clubhouse. This class ties in with our foxhunt class next month, and the actual foxhunt in April. Nice. FYI, what you referred to as "Smith Charts" are not Smith Charts, they are radiation patterns. Smith charts show complex impedance.

We shouldn't be too hard on him, he did say he was new to this. Of course not knowing the chart type is at least a little bit inexcusable. 😁

I noticed that, it also seemed like he knew. Though, depending on situation, sometimes I make small mistakes like that when seeking in public. I enjoy his talk, it was a great amount of info. Unfortunately, KZread is pussing more commercials, so I have seen at least 20, 2 per brake. I wonder if this club is make enough from the commercials to justify them.

The club DOES NOT get any ad revenue...we don't have that feature even turned on...so blame YT.

The hardest part of any beam type antenna build is coming up with some usable element holders.
The gentleman that you wondering where he from that design and selling Antennas DW1ZWS he is from the Philippines his designs are very well built Antennas system he all so has many KZread videos up as well . Great video as well thanks for sharing the information I have you in my favorite ted KD2ARD
