One word of advice.."Don't" Don't stop Don't live here Don't spend your money Many of the teachers don't live in Sherman Most businesses are not that good Just "don't" bother

Frankly it doesn't seems a great place to live...

Growing up here was fun but now I live in Denton but I would love to go back

I love it here in Sherman, I moved in on April 26th 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic. I am so blessed to be here and after spending 57 years by the beach in Southern California it’s quite a big difference, but I find Sherman like a comfortable pair of shoes. I had bought my property online and never saw it or ever been to Texas, this is truly not the Texas I was expecting, it’s so lush and green and the weather is wonderful. I have the greatest health care workers and although there’s still the pandemic, I haven’t been in any fear and eventually I’ll meet the neighbors. I’m a conservative and I love my flag and country, I love letting my flag wave all day next to my front door and not worry that someone will steal it. The one thing that made me decide to move here was that there is an abandoned cemetery here called the Witten Cemetery and my first name is Witten, I am the last in a long line of Witten’s so maybe I’ll visit that cemetery one day.
