I instantly hit the like button when you accurately shot that bug from terrorizing that poor target. A+ hostage scenario training

Reminds me of ‘Speed’, “shoot the hostage”.
“Damn I’m fast” 😂😂😂 mike I love the attitude you have in these education videos
How lucky are we to live in times where we can get a virtual 1 on 1 lesson from a top shelf gunfighter like MG? Im prior service Army, and I find that some of the training I received was not proper. Thanks for the uploads, and thanks for the sacrifices you made as a patriot keeping the wolves away. 🇺🇸
MGA: "DAMN, I'M FAST"! Yes SGM, you are. Amazingly how I have increased my own times from your Gunfighter Pistol Course you recently gave our class at Range 35 in Grand View, TX (along with these videos) without a single mention of "front sight focus", and yet I've witnessed your effects on target. Even in our very fast cadence you had us repeat out loud - not knowing when you'd announce "THREAT" putting three to the center target and 2 to the top target ring; being on our front sight by round 3 or4 and vocalizing to our coah/shooting partner would ask us "what did you see as you processed through the exercise". Simply amazing how we would be on target with very effective hits even before getting on the front sight. To me, it was that my grip and "confidence" was without doubt or hesitation. WHOELSE teaches this real world "OH SH$T, WHAT DO I DO NOW?". No, have the confidence to break those shots - where you should know where and WHEN that next round is gonn break. Sorry for this being so long, but that training was PRICELESS. A million thanks SGM (MGA). STAY ALERT, STAY ALIVE! DRAIL TIER ONE PATREON SUPPORTER
The "boring" stuff you do before you leave the house every morning can be the most important. Dry draw/fire.
Dude that bug hit was fucking hilarious
I practice this alot. Acquiring the grip has proved to be the biggest challenge. Especially from concealed, at speed. It throws off my sight alignment, and I have to adjust. But I've been practicing getting my grip first, then drawing. Owb is easer than iwb. U rock Mike, thank u sir.

Same. Especially from the 430/5 positions (appendix just doesn’t work for me). Clearing the garment to full purchase of a sub compact with a baseball mitt for a hand to alignment and first shot it’s definitely a multi step repetition over and over and over again. The good news is that it will be the fastest thing an attacker has ever seen when/if you ever have to get to work. Stay safe out there 🙏🇺🇸🙏

@@nameredacted1176 same here. I don't carry appendix, I carry about the 5 o'clock position, in my back. Clearing a shirt, getting a grip, and drawing and aiming in one smooth motion is hard enough, then u have to do it quickly, and hit what ur shooting at on top of it all. Practice, practice, practice...
Practice make perfect. It's never too many times. Its never to many hours. Stay safe and be well.
I’ve only got 9 acres with my own shooting range it’s nothing special but it is a place to be able to train freely if you guys are ever near Cincinnati Ohio I would love to have you guys over to shoot again it’s nothing special but we have the ability to move and train realistically as opposed to your basic indoor range or even outdoor range where they do not allow movement or drawing from the holster as at my house we have the luxury and freedoms to train how we want. With the exception of your ammunition it’s absolutely free at my house so I realize how lucky I am to have my own range that’s why I extend the offer to not only you but anyone in our community that is near Cincinnati Ohio please feel completely welcome and let me know.

Wish I had some land brotha. All I have is gun ranges with static firing only near me
I've attended training from SF instructors across my career. 😁 I may have walked among giant's but we are all still human. It is a perishable skill and practice makes everything better. 👍🏽
"damn I'm fast" I laughed so hard in a good way
Your first point about aquiring the grip then producing the pistol really helped me be more efficient. That small detail was huge. Thanks for putting that amount and thought and detail into your instruction. I strive to do the same
This is exactly the video I needed - been working on this. Thanks!
I love how on the click no bang Mike perfectly pushed down right AFTER the click. Really shows how the “flinch” is actually a good thing, it just needs to be done AFTER discharge, not during or before. It was a beautiful dry fire example.
Good stuff Mike. I train to grab the handle and slide forward to the sweet spot before removing the pistol. Moving , turning, jumping, etc , you always get a firm grip . Glad you covered the night stand grip. Most don't break down that far. We need to know this shit for real.
Cool skills mike, I like your videos, your operation career-based knowledge is practical and combat approved. Great work.
The bug didn't stand a chance..😂 awesome instructions thank you Mike ❤❤
No flinch when the first shot didn't go. Excellent discipline. I would have fallen forward for sure 😂
By far the funniest video I have seen from y'all. Always fun for the audience watching y'all have fun! lol Thanks for the great content, always!
I JIST LEARNED SOMETHING!!! push DOWN on the gun? Have never been trained, most civvies like me focus on clearing the shirt and getting a grip/snatching that P229 out of the holster. This changed my whole draw. It’s why I tell everyone you’re my mentor!!! I am hoping for a class in Florida sometime!!! Brevard county class would sell out, sir.
So good!!! I was just trying to explain to a friend how to "acquire " the gun but couldn't find the words. I also was missing a key component and this made my homework much more productive
Yesssir notifications gang
Great information Mike! Thanks for your time! God bless your Independence weekend and thank you for your service!
Kifaru is top of the line hunting gear, nice to see teamed up with them
Love ya Mike! Thank you as always
Hitting the bug was freaking awesome. Nice shot🤙🏴
When I got my new M18 I practiced the stuff I saw Mike doing with DJ and Cole at GBRS. It really helped to get me familiar with the Gun. Since then Ive still been doing those same drills. But also been doing AR 1 or 2 shots and transition to Pistol drills. Guess Ill start working on my fast draw now. I keep a pistol in my truck as well and for years have practiced pulling it and aiming it at different points as the truck warms up. Only takes about 1-2 min to get several drills in.
Too much content and fun to be free on KZread Mike!! Top Man!!
Great instruction, thanks Mike!😊
Good shit. I've been doing this lately. I found I got too "tactically savy" and forgot about the basics. I've been slowing things down and wow what a difference when I speed it back up.
Thanks Mike. Appreciate the video.
Laughing at your self is great! We all need a good laugh!😂 That being said I love all your videos and training information !
Very helpful content Mike thank you.
Priceless content, brother! God speed!
My God Mike, i have been following you since you first appeared on the Shawn Ryan Show. Your content is excellent and super useful. I have been working on my draw to first shot for over a yr. Best I could do was a semi consistent 1.38 to 1.45. I watched your video, conducted your micro drills, then put them together and my God, I dropped my draw to an accurate first shot to a consistent sub second. Average after 21 shots of 0.93 secs. Best of 0.79 secs. Worst of 1.08 secs. When are you coming to a state near WV so I can take your Gunfighter pistol course. Please keep up the great work.
Says a lot about a man (good things) that he can laugh so heartily at his own mistakes. All that build up to the first shot and then......nothing. I laughed out loud too.
Thank you sir
Learned simple and useful things here. Thanks!!
THANKS BIG MIKE!!
Cheers Mike from Australia, keep killin it
Thank you
That some great tips thanks 👊
You are fast…… more importantly accurate.
Good info. Thank you for the info. Keep up the o/s videos!!!👍😊🇺🇸
An instructive video. A great video to refer to in the future. Enjoy the 4th holiday weekend! 🙂👍🇺🇸
This is one of my favorite vids from Mike still. 😂
I worked on a cherry farm in Spanish Fork back in the 90s when I was in high school as a summer job. Love that area.
Should be a super like on here for this stuff
That bug never knew wtf hit him. 😂 nice shot.
How about more CC holster tactics? Not many carry duty or tactical holsters.

Yeah absolutely! The best part is how much money BRCC donates to radically anti gun left wing politicians! Hopefully we won’t have any guns in Utah ever again! 2 years Mike.
Great channel
Self-defense shootings are likely to occur within 10 feet. Draw to the retention index. Then just push to the short index, and on to the sighted index. Start shooting as the situation dictates. One draw satisfying all intervals satisfies Hicks. All draws should be accompanied by movement off the X. Equipping the most basic shooters with the skills for real-life scenarios is the most responsible training.
"What about that little guy?" "That little guy? Don't worry about that little guy."
Stop tryina subtly sell me a SIG. 😂😂😂
Awesome timing for this video, just got a safari lands holster for my P320
Nice music on this video. Not overbearing and easy for me to hear you through.
top stuff, thx
Well damn. That bug had it coming I guess!
youre the man Mr. Glover
Is that the Origin Tiger strip you are sporting? Looks great! I'm just over the mountain from you in SW Wyoming and would love to see how that camo looks in the field! Thank you for all your effort and dedication!
Excellent
“Increasing the speed” Terminator Mike
YOOO. Just 2 shots to tag em..THAT was impressive
Quickest draw in the west....wanna see it again lol!!!! Nice mike ty
Awesome content and EPIC bug assassination!

5:24 🤣🤣🤣 “Damn I’m fast”
Love your shirt Mike 👍
Good Stuff
That bug was a paid actor
That was 🔥 and 💧!!
Wait cool can’t believe you nailed that bug…. I guess we’re a lot of like I could do this all day not watch you but I actually do it… We didn’t do this much in service I can tell you that… how much of this did you actually do in your career. Great stuff keep it up appreciate it much happy fourth
Like my old team leader used to say, "Slow is smooth and smooth is fast".
You fast brotha you fast 😁
Nice.
"Damn I'm fast"🤣🤣🤣
Greased Lightning! WOOOH!
…thank you
Mike, I agree with your points. However hunters typically don't carry fast draw rigs as we don't want to lose a weapon due to heavy and trees. These rigs are tightly wrapped buttoned down etc. Be great if you do time and research into strapped down handgun rigs and bears are pretty fast when you need a sidearm in a real hurry.

Same rules apply. Grip, draw, target, shoot.
You mean to tell me I should have been wearing my holster or appendix carrying around the house this whole time lol damn I thought just having guns sprinkled all around the crib was enough but say less, you have convinced me
No bugs were harmed when I watched this video. Bugs were harmed in the making of this video. Ha. Great shooting, Mike! Taking a course as soon as my permit is issued by the State of NY. 17 months and counting. 🤨
That was fast as fuck boooooy💪
Anytime a bug lands it always becomes the new target haha
I could have used that info this afternoon shooting at a facsimile of that very target. Oh well, guess I have to go to the range tomorrow too.
The bug. Best. Part.
Fast AF boy. Fast AF 🤣
First. Very based, Mike. Keep on keeping on brother! Thanks for the content.
That Was Not Justifiable Self-Defense.
Yo time to the July Mike Glover Challenge: shooting a bug from the draw!
5:44 que the "Big Iron" song.
Lol the 🐜 was too freaking cool man 😏
I sleep on my back and side so I have my gun upside down and with an extra mag in between the gun and wall so I can get the good purchase and extend one handed left or right
Good for you. Big men can laugh at themselves.
Spent first 3 mins replaying that opening bugsplat
The Glover is my favorite non navy seal special operations duder . 😐👍🏼
Fuck you bug!!! Awesome video sir. I have just switched to all ALS holsters and this video is on of the most informative I've seen in a while. I'll be watching this again on the range.
Bomb!
The bug didn’t know who he was running away from.
