Reminds me of when I was a kid, I would make things like this because I didn’t have the money to buy them. Once I had money I bought what I wanted, but some of the magic was gone; so I have come full circle and now enjoy making things again. Two things I wish I had back then: CA glue and those step drill bits. We live in wonderful times.

the things he used is NOT pricey at all, BUT the availability is what makes it hard for others to do this project

@@dwong98 Some wood, drill, screw driver, screws, wire, wire cutters/crimpers, needle nose pliers, some used speakers, soldering iron, glue, and amp board is all you need to make this. most people already have the tools used, amp boards are what $10 - 50 usd depending on how much watts you want. Someone in the US could make this for less than $50 usd, and if they wanted to make one cheaper that that they could. The most difficult thing would be the knowledge to do it, not everyone understands how to wire this thing up but a few youtube videos on how to do it would be all it takes.
I don't have any knowledge about these..but it seems you did a great job.. neat and clean.. expert level in my opinion. Keep it up
That is a classy little soundbar video, so thanks very much for sharing. I'm going to make it myself. It looks easy enough.
Wow! You are really Talented. Excellent job done. Thanks for sharing.
Man great stuff, you build a lot of things on your channel and its very helpful and informative. Great how to videos by the way keep up the great work.
a little details of the outside trims, it would be nice if it rounded around the speakers and the whole unit from all corners. it is an awesome project , good job
Big props for use of space in your workshop!!!
WOW! I LOVE CREATIVE CHANNEL YOUR EVERY VIDEO IS HIT FOR ME THANKS FOR NICE VIDEO
My first ever build, was a sound bar before sound bars were invented lol. Circa 1991 I Scavenged 6 car speakers from the junkyard, made a large box to fit 4 front facing and two side facing. Powered it with a converted 50 watt car amp I also scavenged..and voila...instant theater. Only thing was, I had to use one TV set for sound and one for Video haha LOL!

INFINITELY better than a store bought soundbar. Great work.

Impresionante estupenda y formidable tu capacidad de creacion .Felicitaciones . Dios te bendiga enormemente
Its a great build apart from your speakers are out of phase and what you should have done is left the inside open, that way the passive radiators would work herder and you would get a more defined bass
I want to go to your home . There are so many instruments 😮.
Either way, your work environment is really beautiful.
Excelente el proyecto que realizo. Excelente.... Sos un capo. Vos siempre haciendo cosas raras pero siempre tenes buenas ideas. Segui asi. Te felicito por tu taller que tenes muchas cosas guardadas. Creo que no te falta nada.
Dude! My heart is bleeding! Such a great project and such a lazy paint work, like you don't care! If you'll spend 20 minutes more, you'll come with professional looking electronics!
This video made me enable my adblocker for KZread.
You got a serious Man-Cave there dude... A thousand thumbs up!
Enjoyed the video so much! Very well done!
Awesome job!!! You have a lot of batteries as well!! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
That's a really really nice Project - congratulation. Just on Question. In The Video it looks like the Bass-Speaker are out of Phase. Just how it looks for me. Maybe one try to change + and - for one of them and listen ... More Bass then my guess was right. If not change it back an feel good ;-). Like i said in the beginning: nice Project...

Die Kellerwerft I was about to comment on this also. The woofers are out of phase. The one on the right looks to be wired backwards, as it pulls inward with the bass. Also he used polarized electrolytic capacitors for the crossovers where they should have been non-polarized. He could get away with it if he used 2 polarized caps per speaker connected in series but opposing polarities (+--+ or -++-) thus creating a non polarized capacitor.

You are right. They are out of phase. At 14:50, looking at the capacitors, he has one of them connected to the wrong terminal creating the out of phase problem
Excellent work and project... Wow, amazing sound bar. 😎
Making is very good and for those who dose not know it is very good to show how others can do the same 👍👍
Needs some primer, lots of sanding, and finished off with a coat of clear for that deep "piano black" look.

How did you calculate the parameter of the capacitor to do the “crossover”? You’re the best man!
@dinkuu8724

of course he didnt
@TheSpotify95
2 жыл бұрын
There was no crossover, he just used a capacitor on the tweeters. For best results you would buy a 2 way crossover unit, and also use separate bass and treble speakers instead of treble and full range.
Great job my friend keep up the good work very Kool 👍👍 thank you so much for sharing your hard work and dedication
That is one hell of a piece of sandpaper 😊
You connected wrong the polarisation of 2 mid range speakers. In video you can see this. When first speaker go out , another one goes in but they should go out when bass nocks the speakers

Please don't forget and consider that he used a 2 channel amplifier. The reason that the 2 peerles speaker are not both synced of their phase is might be because of the sound signal that is coming from the music of he's phone, and might be was of unbalanced frequency coming from the music or from the phone itself. Anyway he can test it by doing a parallel connection of the 2 peerles on its channel. Just my thoughts. ^_^
Why did you separated tweeters in their own chambers? They don't need it, you wasted a big amount of air volume for the woofers?
@bryanpeeters2552
5 жыл бұрын
they do need it, as you can see they are not closed by themself. if he made it with no dividers the tweeters would viberate too due the pressure of the woofers
