If you're still not sure though then keep the program "HWMonitor" (it comes with windows) open in the background while you work and see which part of your computer is working the hardest and upgrade that. Unfortunately you are dead wrong about mining cards "having their life expectancy reduced tremendously." I have no idea where people have got this myth from. Super computers run GPU at 100C 24/7 for about a decade before they upgrade and VERY RARELY will a card ever die. They do not have a life expectancy. Chips can go bad if they exceed thermal limitations but internal mechanisms prevent this and this really only occurs when a fan dies. GPU and not milk, the do not spoil. They can be damaged but they do not have a "life expectancy" given normal operation, even 24/7 100% usage they should easily out live all of us. Silicon can run for centuries without significant issues developing. I'm not saying people should buy mining GPUs, they are used. I would rather own a mining GPU than a used gaming GPU though. Mining GPUs might be overclocked and undervolted but the fan will be ramped a little. Gaming GPUs will be set to max everything tp get the extra FPS. This makes no sense for mining sense it is based on hashes per watt. Upping your wattage destroying your profitability.
