Please do more with the updated versions of ACF (Pro) and Elementor (Pro) combined with things that will do front end submissions, results pages and subscription sites! Honestly. To tell you the truth. Having built and taught for years on how to built a Frontend dashboard, I've found out that it is better just to WordPress' very own dashboard. Restyle that instead and control user permissions. Plugins to use: ACF, ACF-Extended, ACF-Views, WSForm, and any user management plugin. Let's hope 2024 would be the year of styling the WP Admin.

Hey @@samjco! Curious: would you say it's good practice to just embed a custom page you've created inside of the WordPress dashboard? -- I know WP white label allows you to do that in the form of a “panel”, unfortunately they only allow Elementor panels and not Gutenberg ones.

Hi there great video, I am also using the Advanced Custom Fields PRO & Frontend Admin plugins and trying to allow users to embed videos on the form. I can see the video in the post when I edit but they will not display on the post pages. Can you please help me with a solution to what I am missing or doing wrong? Thank you

I haven't tested it out, but I don't think so. To be honest, you have similar functionality built into JetEngine using the forms functions.

Are you planning a deeper dive into this Paul? ... would love to see as much as possible on this.

Possibly! But, I believe the plugin has now been removed from WordPress.org - so, I'll need to find a viable alternative to look into.

Do you mean a frontend form that will allow you to add content or create new posts using the custom post type - if so, yes. Have a look on my channel for frontend forms or frontend dashboards, and you'll find several tutorials on how to do it. :)

I don't, no. I tend to remove them once the tutorial is completed to free up resources. I will be working on some more listing type content over the coming weeks, that should help demonstrate the process I would use. :)

Loos like a great tool ,but I cannot figure out how to save to a CPT. There doesn't appear to be any documentation on this and its not listed in the features for either free or Pro version on the devs website. Also being able to update The Event Calendar would be great too if that is possible in the plugin

It would depend where the data is stored for the events calendar to be honest. I'd have to check the PDF upload, but if you can upload files using the plugin, I'm sure you could also upload supported format files like PDF.

I've been struggling with getting Forminator Form to do this for me. The question I want to ask is--- Can I use the Form to make FrontEnd Posting of a Custom Post Type created by ACF? Meaning that I created a Custom Post Type called "Video". can I use this Form to submit Post to that Video Custom Post Type, from the Front End using ACF and this ACF Frontend Admin plugin?

I need to double check that ACF post types are fully supported in the free version, but I believe it is possible.

I believe you’d need the pro version of the main plugin used.

Frontend Admin plugin not work :(

Frontend Admin plugin has been closed as of January 3, 2024, pending a full review. And it's too bad the pro version uses Freemius.

Yup is official. No one understood your Speedy Gonzales presentation, they got lost when you jumped from ACF to Frontend Forms from there on .. they probably had to pause the video dozens of times but still, they could not connect the dots... It started with the title of the video which is irrelevant to what you presented. .. Where is the Live Dashboard on the website?

as usual, amazing video - as short as possible, without leaving out any important information. would love to see a more in-depth tutorial too! another thing, I'd be super interested in, would be a 100% free possibility to set up a "nice" gallery (possibility to configure different layout options like masonry, with lightbox, etc) from dynamic data, such as fetching of all featured images of all posts of a certain category in one nice gallery... I had so search for quite some time, until I found a plugin, which is capable of this and free. I think there might be a possibility to do this in elementor free or spectra free with ACF, but after some hours, I just gave up and looked for a plugin Would be super interesting, if you'd come up with a video on that, I think I am not the only one interested, as all the established block builders etc. lock this behind a payment wall
