    Awesome! Was planning on doing this soon! I was thinking about running a second, parallel set of overhead storage further in over the garage door. Thinking having the storage entirely joist-supported should be fine for another couple hundred pounds. They are holding up a roof and a second story after all. 1:16

    I can see a future upgrade. A small loft to lay long material like that roll of fencing on so it does not take up a whole shelf. DIYers just keep on DIYing. 1:22

    If you don’t have screws and have nails instead you still can put nails in but make sure you drill pilot holes and blunt the nail sharp point by hammer 🔨 to prevent splitting

    Deano here from Biloxi, MS, USA. Great video. I just have one question. Did you really not split any wood or did you just edit the video to take it out? I am just asking because I have a great deal just tearing down the pallett and removing nails w/o splitting the wood. I guess practice makes perfect!! LOL

    You'll have to source them locally. Check stores for throw-aways, and around here, reclaimed wood shops will sell them, and normally they've been de-nailed or screwed making it easier for you to use. You can also use scrap wood, you don't have to use just old pallets.

    You could put a matt on the shoe rack. So ist doesnt matter how dirty they are, it doesn't makes the other shoes dirty. Also you can cleant it out then ;3 A little bit crativity and you solved a problem ;)
