Amazing work!

Great video, I build a full size arcade during the pandemic. I'm thinking about building another one with less games and one joystick only.

Awesome work man, I'm currently building my second cabinet. Any reason you didn't recess the joysticks from the underside (with a router) so you get more clearance on the other side with the shaft?

Would particle board be fine for this cabinet?

How much did this cost in supplies? Asking for a friend 👀

Way more than I wanted! Due to a deadline I didn't have time to shop around for cheaper stuff. I think this cost around $1k to build but I could probably do it cheaper if I sourced cheaper parts. Thanks for watching!!

How did you get all those games on it ?

Games that you have can be transfered to the odroid/raspberry pi via wifi to the memory card, external hard drive or flash drive. I'm using Recalbox. Search "how to load games to recalbox" on KZread. Thanks for watching

Question is it possible that i can use my ps2 console in to this one

Probably. You just a way to hook your controls up to arcade buttons instead of your handheld controller

This piece was commissioned by one of my student's parents. They covered the cost of the build and the other proceeds went to getting the classroom some new tools.

imagine calling a full blown wood shop with routers, pneumatic tools etc. basic tools..

My latest facebook marketplace buys: 18g brad nailer for $35. Small air compressor that needed some work for $40. Trim router for $50 (different than shown in this video). Home depot sells cheap jigsaws for under $50.... whiners and negative people will continue to complain regardless of how I build (which is even more basic than my previous builds)

It's basic tools when you realize that most people just cut out these cabinets with a CNC machine.

Vs big stationary machines like tablesaws etc. Circular saw, router, and jigsaw are all basic and easy to find used and cheap
