Stephen Jimenez - Great! All the videos should help you along the way, but let us know if you have any questions.

Woodsmith only thing I'd change is to add a master cut list. Maybe one that optimizes a 4 x 8 sheet of mdf and a master hardware list with sources. The plans I downloaded are more like a magazine article than plans. At least plans I'm used to.

Stephen Jimenez - Yeah, I don’t know why we didn’t do a plywood cut diagram for this project because we regularly do that for projects that use sheet goods. I can probably get the shop drawings for this project if that is what you are used to. The sources and materials lists are included but would it be easier if it were all together in a spreadsheet type format?

Woodsmith no not spread sheet. I like the way Sketchup does a cut list diagram. Just optimizes the cuts and minimizes waste. The plans are great I'll just have to do the work and plan my cuts.

I’ve got some spare carcass board (Partical board core with laminate on each side) Can I use that or is it better just to find some laminate sheet? Also can you use a router for the grove for the T track

I prefer to use plywood on the top because I find that anything with a particle board core will tend to sag over time, but if you already have it you can certainly give it a try. A router and straight bit would be an excellent alternative for making the t-track groove.

Where can you buy laminate like you used for the table top in sizes smaller than 4’x8’?

Sometimes you can get them through the big home centers (special order) or you can check with a local counter top fabricator. They will either have smaller pieces that they are willing to sell or at least point you in the right direction.

It depends on the location. It looks like we use 1/2"-13, 3/8"-16, 5/16"-18 T-nuts through the project. If you are referring to the ones used in the top, it looks to me like the 6 towards the back of the table for mounting the fence are 3/8"-16 and the 4 towards the front for mounting the adjustable horizontal table are 1/2"-13 T-nuts.

bluesky6327 - Sorry about that... KZread picks the ads. That’s something I wish we could have some control over, but unfortunately we don’t. ☹️
