I bought a French car. To keep it safe from the storms I built a car port to keep it in. It is a perfect companion to the small barn workshop and also works as a covered work area, lawn mower store or breeze way.

Nice carport and video. I am curious about the wood you used. It has some yellow coating or finish on it. What is that called? Over here wood for outdoor use is usually treated with a green transparant kind of finish.

Hi. it’s stress graded and treated against insect attack. The posts are tanalised green for ground contact. regards JP
