Great save . can't wait to hear it run. That car has a rare WH1 paint code.

This is gonna be the coolest car in the garage.
When I picked up my '87 WE4 it also had sat for about a decade. Previous owner started it (ran rough but ran) but def had a serious mouse problem, wrecked interior, rusted floors, electrical issues, tons of mech maintenance needed and so on. Well now its a solid car, everything works as it should, decent but not crazy modifiations to make it a low 12s car and now its a reliable daily. Only thing open is eventually I want to repaint but thats about it. Your quote 'she has seen better days but she has not seen her last day.' def holds true. Good luck with the rebuild and have fun!

It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Hands dirty. Building something to be proud of. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. I’d love to see some pics of your car. I’m tackling the floors currently and a bit of a pain but still fun.

@@RothschildsMisfitGarage hey sure, next chance I get to clean it a bit I'll take a pic or 2. They certainly have their challenges (floors being a good example) but overall def fun and rewarding projects and even cooler this specific one for you is sentimental. I see you have posted about it a few times so I'll be keeping an eye out for your progress. Again, best of luck w/her!
i have many memories riding in this car, i believe we drove her to OceanCity MD. for a 'week'Vacation 3 weeks later we made it home, and dad n i bet on the time we would make it home... remember dad????

Thank you. I’m just getting the channel going. Trying to get better every day. Stick around. Have a few more projects to introduce to the channel
Very good. Except its not a Grand National its a T Type. Same engines as you know but different model. I will keep watching your channel to see what happens with this.
Ooh ok totally understand my friend. Just making a point cause I had a 85 and I had to find and buy a 87 motor to put in cause no matter what I did to the 85 it wasn't enough. Good luck and can't wait til you get it done would live to see how it comes out.

Thanks man. I drove this car in the late 90s for a week. It was faster then an Iroc but lost to a 5.0 mustang. I just want it to live again. Subscribe and follow it. Build videos are gonna start in the comming weeks. Got a truck full of parts for the old girl.

Tomorrow to the misfit garage
Later production 1985 Buick Regal T-Type WH1. Not that highly desirable for many reasons. 1985 was the last of the 'Hot Air' turbo cars, only 205 HP. It has the highly problematic Power-Master braking system (At least it has the upgraded hydraulic accumulator, and HOPEFULLY the upgraded/recalled pressure switch; Early 1985 cars had the Hydro-Boost brake system that ran off the power steering pump fluid.) It has the same style and basic color as the 1986 and 1987 interior; 1984 was a different color and material. Ithas some very nice options, but is in very sad condition. It will cost way more than the car will ever be worth.

This one isn’t about the street value. It was my brothers car. This one is for the heart. Drove this car when I was 17 and won my first street race against a 97 camaro. It’s never gonna be perfect or a show car. I have other cars for that. This will run and drive again. Then a few upgrades and call it a day. Have no plans to paint or redo the interior. Just a memory lane cruiser. It’s definitely seen better days but I still love it. The brakes are the next project after I get her running right

@@RothschildsMisfitGarage Understand completely. My 87 Turbo Llimited has been mine since I ordered it new. It has been with me through thick and thin; I've owned a total of ten Turbo Regal cars over the years.
what year is she??
