BUHATAN RIVER ECO-ADVENTURE, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon
Buhatan River used to be a heavily trashed river with dwindling mangroves and fish population. But through the bayanihan spirit of the community with the help of late Ms. Gina Lopez, then Chairman of ABS - CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., the river was cleaned and rehabilitated. It was later on transformed into a community based sustainable eco-tourism project that will provide livelihood to the community. Today, the BUHATAN RIVER ECO-ADVENTURE is a popular sustainable community-based eco-tourism destination in Sorsogon City, province of Sorsogon.

Nature does amaze me i mean look at this river! I love the way the tree’s surrounds the area ,my family and i loves Eco-Adventures and we will surely visit this place one day.
I like Sorsogon it was a province of my grandfather and grand mother..we visited the place before pandemic but this Buhatan river is not familiar to me ..now iknow that this beautiful eco tourism place exist ..thank you Mr. Noel Amata gor this wonderful vlog ..someday i would explore this place that has stunning picturesque and serenity..
