Bugs is a 16yo QH who’s been with us for about 6mos. She came as a nervous, thin, pushy horse with hooves in poor condition. Now, under the care of her new owners, she is flourishing.
She was not from an abusive situation, but rehomed because her previous owners were unable to provide the care she needed. It takes courage to give up something you love. ❤️

The only thing I believe would be the drawback to being a farrier other than weather is how much you put your back through.
