Great edit!! Looks like it could be in the real show!! I’m glad someone made this idea into a reality!! Don’t get me wrong, the poses we got in the show were cool and everything but I was really disappointed that we never got a fully animated unifying sequence. I understand why we didn’t since it was meant to fit into the action happening in the moment but it would’ve been cool if we got some ultimate unifying sequence for the literal two most powerful miraculouses being combined! I was honestly just very underwhelmed in the moment while watching the episode XD. It would’ve been really cool to see a transformation with full on movements instead of still shots and at the very least a cool badass pose for the ending (That actually shows off the whole outfit) instead of just a weird close-up of Marinette’s face. It looks very out of place when compared to the other unification end poses. I really like what you did with the end pose here! If we couldn’t get a transformation, something like your edit would’ve definitely been the next best thing!! Thanks for making and sharing!!

Yeah i mean they probably didnt do it in another way probably it might not fit or something But well s6 seems like a time for a transformation sequence to finally return tho and maybe we might get alot of new one too or something since when they enter new grade (their clothes will change too) And aww thanks ^^

I definitely understand why it didn’t happen and realistically, it probably also had to do with time restraints but if it were up to me, I would’ve made it so that Marinette kicks and escapes from Gabriel and then when she jumps up, she does the unification and has a grand transformation where she moves around and actually transforms and everything. Another alternative would’ve been to just have Marinette transform into Ladybug to escape, allow Gabriel to have that grand realization of “OH MY GOD MARINETTE DU-PAIN CHANG IS ACTUALLY LADYBUG!!😲🤯” and now that’s she’s transformed into Ladybug she could do the normal unification sequence where and they could just re-use footage that they already had from the DragonBug unification (not as interesting but still would’ve been better than what we got imho). Like I said before, I totally get why it didn’t happen with the time restraint of the episode and also how they probably thought it would be more impactful to just have it happen right there in the moment in the action, but I’m a personal sucker for cool and flashy transformation sequences so when we’re cheated out of one, I’m really disappointed! Season 5 especially cheated us out of quite a few transformation sequences and it was quite disappointing. I truly hope that you’re right with season 6 introducing us to a lot of new transformation sequences now that the heroes are older and probably have new wardrobes! However, knowing how this show is, I have a strong feeling that it’ll probably just be Marinette and Adrien with new transformations and then one for Lila into her new super villain form. If we’re lucky, we might get one for Alya but I don’t see us getting new ones for the other supporting heroes since that would probably cost a lot to make and the show creators would probably rather save that money. We can definitely hope and pray though! I’d love to be proven wrong and be pleasantly surprised while watching season 6!

In the show’s cannon, that’s probably why they didn’t have that happen, but I feel like if the show creator’s really wanted to go for that cool dramatic effect, it would’ve been cool if they had her transform into ladybug and then unify it with the cat miraculous. I feel like with the way Ladybug has had so much plot armor in the show up until this point, they could probably spare a quick moment for Ladybug to transform and then unify without being tracked by the miraculized. I guess that’s just my own personal preference though and not always the same vision the creator’s had in mind. Honestly, if I were to break apart this whole plot involving the miraculized, it really doesn’t make sense to me how unifying the two miraculouses made Marinette unidentifiable and un-locatable. If I’m remembering correctly, Gabriel and Tomoe used cataclsym dust and an imprint from ladybug’s magical charm to create these “quantum imprints” for the miraculized to track down. I guess you could argue that the magical charms are exclusive to Ladybug since no other ladybug user has ever made them, but like a cataclsym is not exclusive to just Cat Noir. Any cat miraculous user can use the cataclsym power, so by that logic, shouldn’t the quantum imprint lead the miraculized after the activated cat miraculous and not just after Cat Noir specifically? I know this gets into a whole other topic entirely, but I feel like it just goes to explain that there’s always some sort of plot armor that’s gonna protect Marinette/Ladybug in the end, so why not just satisfy the most satisfying product possible? I guess that’s just my take at least and I know not everybody is gonna feel the same as me. At the end of the day, I’m just a sucker for transformation sequences and consistency within those transformation sequences. It makes my OCD brain feel complete Lmao 😂
