I agree. There are some of the things that you can do. Some of the things you would want permission. Some of the things would just be a no-go depending on the landlord

Talk to the landlord and explain what you want to do. Of course some may say no. Some won't say no to a free upgrade. Some may be able to negotiate a rent credit of $x a month to pay for the upgrades.

Thank you, brother, for sharing great video and it was really good tips and ideas and good information. I live in an apartment myself on the top floor and i also rent it. And my apartment door is a burglary and fire proof door but there are very limited things you can do most because of the landlord. And i have also shared this video out on my X for you and my FB group for KZread creators.

I appreciate that my man. Yeah some of the things, if they're really important to you, you might just have to do now and pick for forgiveness later, lol. Everybody's situations different. Some people have landlords that they never see in smaller apartment communities and some people have maintenance crews that are around every day.

That's crazy! Why can't you lock your windows, or even your doors?? You should look into wooden dowels for the windows (measure the height between the the bottom opening window and the top of the window) and barricade brackets with 2x4 beams for the door ( if they open in). For me that would be absolutely unacceptable to not be able to secure my windows and doors. You should look into trying to change that it's a matter of safety!

Screw 3 inch screws into your frame aling both sides.one halfway between the door nob and top of the frame.one halfway between the door nob and the bottom of the door.then do the other side.i have a bolt lock as well.i did put a beware of dog sign on my window.facing the street.i do have Ammo.ballbat.and Ax.
