@Craig Jones Hahaha ZX14r. Those things weigh like 70 kg more than the S1000rr. I somewhat agree with you though. If you're used to riding literbikes, riding in a straight line on a modern literbike isn't difficult. Especially not with a rolling start. It's launching the bike from 0 that's hard. And it's for sure way harder than with a car.

Title: Bugatti destroys everything. Reality: loses too 207 hp bike. Don't get me wrong, that's a lot for a bike, but that Bugatti driver had it coming when he was talking shit.

That's a Mk1 S1000RR so either 190bhp or 193bhp. The Mk2 had 199BHP and the Mk3 has 207bhp. The latest model is also a fair bit lighter than the original. I own a S1000RR and it didn't surprise me too much it was able to outrun the Veyron on a roll-on race. If the track was longer 1.5 mile+ I'd expect the Veyron would pass the S1000RR. Still with that all said the BMW isn't as fast as some bikes you can buy.

By nature bikes always accelerate faster than cars because they have less traction, strong engines on rather light weight and have a better drag coefficient. I mean you are looking at 1.06hp/kg on a bike versus a Bugatti with 0.51hp/kg, the Bugatti sure is fast but actually has a worse drag coefficient than a 1997 Beetle

I love my rockets. Eating supper cars at a fraction of the price is priceless in and of itself. I've never been up against what is considered a hyper car but I've faced a couple Ferrari's one Lamborghini and a Audi. The Audi gave me the most exciting race of my life though. I had to back off due to poor road conditions and that's when he did a fly by.

The Bmw is stuffed with tech, like wheelie control, abs and tractioncontrol with lean angle. If you want you can just give it full trottle. It's a beast! If you think you can outrun a modern 1000cc sportbike from 0-300 with even an exotic car, you have to try a little harder.

For me it is Bugatti. Because it is way more engineered and nicer than any Koenigsegg. Look at Doug DeMuro's reviews. Bugatti just stands out in terms of speed and luxury. And well composed cars. Nothing comes close to Bugatti overall.

Watch Doug DeMuro's reviews about both brands and maybe you will understand what the true best car in the world means. Bugatti offers speed and comfort, Koenigsegg doesn't and also doesn't have the engineers and experience to do so. Loud cars everyone can make. Quick cars that are also comfortable is very hard to achieve, and Koenigsegg just isn't in this category of luxury, comfortable and fast.

I used to love the Bugatti until I saw my first Koenigsegg about 12 years ago. The beauty of the design. You can really tell they go above and beyond to innovate. Then I found out they were also faster...that pretty much sealed the deal for me. And they've failed to disappoint all these years later.

The egg Agera R is so technologically advance its absurd. Hybrid operation, direct drive tech. It basically stays in 7th gear at all times. The huge billet aluminum torque converter cranks that shaft and you have almost unlimited power. It's just keeps pulling. Say what you want about any other boutique brand but Koenigsegg is breaking barriers and truly innovating to make these unbelievable cars.

Looks like the agera isn't even having a competition..

Bugatti is a different class and style of car, it's designed for luxury and brute force power. This Koenigsegg is designed for all out power and speed. I'd venture a guess there is a huge difference in ride comfort and interior noise between the two. People act as if Bugatti couldn't pull off something more extreme, but their motivations are different. I love both car brands, but Koenigsegg mainly for their use of such advanced tech and brilliant design.

I’m fairly certain a koenigsegg is a pretty comfortable place to be in. Both are amazing, very fast, and have very high quality material.

Depends what you call comfortable, a hammering twin-turbo V8 can be quite noisy, whereas Bugatti's smooth W16 is a whole lot less noisy I reckon.

Car-vids-random The one they set the record with was a stripped down version. Also to make it official, you do 2 runs, and get the average of those runs. Bugatti didn’t do that. The current official record is the Agera RS, which broke both the top speed record and the 0-400-0. Checkmate

Like someone said earlier, Koenigsegg and Bugatti have different purposes, is true that Kkoenigsegg cars are a little bit more extreme, but doesnt mean that Bugatti cant create something like that too, they can, but their purpose is different, we people have made koenigsegg and bugatti competitors when actually their cars are not mean to compete in every aspect with each other, they are both great brands.

What? They are both hypercars and bugatti from the beginning had a big mouth we have 1000hp we are fastest then there was 1200hp and later there was the chiron 1500hp and still there were faster cars and then this, if "i" wanted luxury and comfort "i" would've bought an s-klasse or rollsroyce! A bugatti or a Koenigsegg is for real speed.

I like that 2 second head start from stand still. You look at that pull by the Veyron and then remember that Koenigsegg is even faster than Bugatti. Just the fact that Bugatti can't even compete despite a head start. You never see the Koenigsegg cheat in these matchups ;D

Zeid Sonbola Porsche 918, Pagani Huayra, Ferrari LaFerrari, Bugatti Veyron (all variants)... McLaren P1, Hennessey Venom GT, Lamborghini Veneno etc would surely be added to the list too. By the Agera alone ;P

James Crain Yeah... That's within 5 second ;) Usually between 4'th and 5'th gear it leaves everything behind. At least from what I've noticed. Sometimes in 3'rd gear, but only on rolling starts.

James Crain Rolling start from 50 km/h (31 mph)... Anyway. Even when the other car cheats. All the cars I've mentioned in my first comment have except the P1 and Venom GT yet, both fair and dirty with no success. They only win the first like 100 meters (109 yards) from stand still and maybe 50-100 meters rolling before the Koenigsegg is gone. There are plenty of displays of this on here to watch. Koenigsegg is the 1/4 & 1/2 mile king in the supercar/hypercar segment.

A Ferrari tryin to catch a koen is like a Civic tryin to catch an amg

I think Mclaren F1 and Enzo could keep up with CCR Evo. Unfortunately we never seen any of them on the GTBoard rolling races in more that a decade! I hope you'll find one in good condition and bring it to the track sometime soon!
