May in Northern California is insane with mosquitoes and moths. I hate killing them but without this thing you can’t go outside in the evening. It’s a vintage Montgomery Ward 50 watt bugs zapper it gets the job done.

It’s made by Montgomery Wards. It’s a 1980’s 50 watt Charmglow Model No. KCB 2157. I’ve never seen another one like it.
You should take the cage off of it though
I love watching big moths catch on fire in a bug zapper. 😂

moths are also food source for birds and pollinate plants... find another passion.

Yep it does. Like burning hair and flesh. I have it on right now as I type sitting on the porch. I thought about taking the cage off but I would have to cut the rods. Plus my grandpa bought this thing in the 80’s and I don’t want to mess it up. Ideally I would like to kill less moths and just mosquitoes. If I took the cage off moths the size of humming birds would be able to fit in it.
