They should've won, had so many chances, just barely missed them, they shut them out the whole 1st half, that defense is fast fast and aggressive with great corner backs. Sack QB 4 or 6 times, he was definitely off last night, did not look like #1 player in the nation at all or #5 team in the country, they have a strong d tho, but creek def got their respect last night, could've been upset of a lifetime

​​No, this is what happens when your pumped emotionally for the upset last week. Buford got the upset against St Frances. Buford was just not up for Mallard Creek. Hard to be up for every game. This is what every coach fears (the let down game after beating an opponent that you shouldn't have). If Buford would have played Mallard Creek as if they were playing St Frances they would have won by 4 touchdowns.

No slight against Msllard Creek......I've been Not a Buford fan but a fan of GHSA Georgia Football for Decades and I've seen Many Buford games....But I've never seen any Buford team....I'm not gonna say sloppy but playing with hard any enthusiasm......Now that Mallard Defense was pretty stout and it didn't seem to matter any that they were up against zthe #5 Team on the country.....Hats off to the MC Defense

In defense of Buford, everyone needs to stop acting like Mallard Creek is scrubs.. They have consistently been one of the Nations best teams and had two down years after Covid.. That’s it.. Mallard Creek defensive secondary is literally their relay team that made it to the world junior Olympics… They are fast as hell and very hard to score one
