The puppet bats are so wholesome, Pinup Buffy and Willow look ready to slay all day, and Mr Giles looks ready to duck into the nearest phonebooth and emerge with a secret identity. Love it.

When the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series started, I thought that it would be cool to have a 1950’s version of the series. Now that you granted my wish, you guys did a fantastic job doing a 1950’s version of one of my fave 1990’s-2000’s series of all time.

Willow is Anya Taylor Joy as a readhead. Giles and Angel's chins can cut glass. And someone as handsome as this version of Xander has no need for wisecracks and he will be the undisputed homecoming king in this version of Buffy. 😆

@WardenCinematics Well the only thing I might say as constructive criticism. The Undead need to be a bit pastier. And Spike looked too much like Troy Donahue, all square-jawed Americana. He is English, don't forget. Upper-middle Class, well educated. Despite his humble roots as a Ministers son, Laurence Olivier might have been a better template.

Great it's got 1950s glamour.

This was a strange mix of beautiful imagery and the Uncanny Valley hitting hard.

I know faith is not the main character but even though she did bad things to people, she is my favourite. Buffy had everything she ever wanted, a loving mother and sister, supporting friends and a guy who liked her and she took it fo granted. She sometimes felt bored with everything she had, but faith didn't have any parents, siblings or friends. She didn't grow up in a loving environment and no one taught her to be good. Not making excuses for her, but even though buffy eventually lost everything , faith had nothing even before her life began. She's not evil just broken. Buffy is a good character too, just wish the writers gave faith more attention and and better ending. She could have even ended up with angel if they wanted but it was not meant to be 💔. Faith deserves more understanding and less judgment.

Do people really hate on Faith? I always thought audiences were cheering for her, and rejoiced to see her land on the right side of things by the end of the story.

Faith is the best character in Buffy and so underrated! But her fans know this. And it kinda fits her character in some way. Although it does tick me off a bit that most people don’t realise that when Kendra dies and Faith is called she is infact THE Slayer from then on. Yes Buffy still has slayer powers and is a slayer but she isn’t the traditional current slayer.

I would watch this.

@@WardenCinematics To be honest, Cordelia was a much better character when she was in the Angel series. She grew a lot from the original "mean girls" type of character she was in Buffy.

Harmony and the Cordettes (except Cordelia) would be similar to the women in the movie "The Help."

I would kill for a new buffy ANYTHING movie or TV show. its a fantastic property and if done right would be amazing. have Sarah Gellar in it as the watcher maybe . you could re cast all the older actors in different side roles around a younger cast . come on already Hollywood
