In regards to Joyce's death. One of the later episodes, I think 21? When Buffy is talking to Giles about Glory and Dawn. She talks about how everything's hard. "I don't know how to live in this world..." She talks for about two minutes - and to wrap it all up, she ends it with "I just wish my mom was here." My heart dies. I bawl like a baby when she says that line. Because it's the farthest thing from the audience's mind the whole time she's speaking. It just makes her appear like a hurt child.

That's from "The Gift". Buffy is talking to Giles in the room behind the Magic Box. The score used is Sacrifice, not this one.

The shadow of zombie Joyce walking past the window while Buffy and Dawn were arguing creeped me out as a kid.

This is easily one of my favorite Buffy songs. Perfection.

This and "Run" were always my favorite Thomas Wanker tracks. This track appeared in season 6 often too, during the really depressing times. Great track.

BTVS was and still my all time fav show. Joyce’s death strikes a chord with me so much because the series of events were so eerily similar to my moms. I was in my early 20s, just like Buffy. My mom died of a brain hemorrhage, just like Joyce. I came home and found my mom, just like Buffy. The only difference was my mom was not completely dead at that point, but she was pretty much there. I called her the ambulance and watched her being put on life support in the emergency room. May 3 was the date of her first emergency visit and May 7 was the date of her passing. 2 days before Mothers Day. The hardest week of my life. 😢😢 RIP Mom. She always looked watching BTVS with me 😢😢

Thank you to all the people who have commented on this and my other Buffy remake. I apologise about not having made any more, but my dvd collection of the series is a bit hit and miss when it comes to working so it's hard for me to find what you're looking for. The original was composed by Thomas Wanker (unfortunate surname, I know) I think, but I haven't been able to find the original piece ANYWHERE. I have found audio rips from the episode, but they weren't very good quality. I would love to find the original piece in its pure form... If anyone knows where to get it, PLEASE let me know! This was very good by the way...

When I saw this episode for the first time I had not yet found my mother dead I would a few years later wasn't the first thing I thought of but it wasn't the last thing I thought of either when I found her was the fact we both be and I had both found her mother's dead

(To kp3c) The easiest and fastest way I have found to download from youtube (which is easier than me uploading stuff so others can DL it from me) is to use zamzar - select 'Download videos' and if you don't want the visual part you can convert the file to an mp3 by choosing the mp3 format from the drop down. KZread apparently won't let me link it to you, but if you google it it will be the top hit. Down side is this site has pop ups but other than that it works really well!

The fact that this video currently has almost 28,000 views is a testament to the fact that people WANT to get their hands on this piece of the Buffy score. @tararaboomdia0101: If by 'put up' you mean get back to Garageband and remake it from scratch, it's possible. Could take me a while but it's possible. It would help if I knew which episode it comes from so I can find it in my collection without actually digging through every dvd.

I'm not sure Miriam, in fact people have told me it has no name. Finding it should be tough anyway as the composer never released his tracks (unlike Christophe Beck who did the early seasons).

Sorry dolnikxd, If I'd known the name of the actual piece I'd have put it in. As this is not a piece that Wanker released, it's not on any compilation sadly, hence the need to recreate it.

Overall I felt sooo sorry for Dawn. She later on lost Buffy too. Then when Buffy came back she didn’t even wanna be there. I can’t blame Dawn for being so bitchy and miserable.
