Darleen,I'm glad to hear something is helping you heal. That is no life for anyone. I'm so glad to hear you are out of that relationship. Good Luck, you hold your head up high my dear. Be proud of yourself always. It is not your fault your partner had those problems in the first place. It should have never been taken out on you. Hold that head high, craft away and do anything else that makes you happy. For me it was rescuing, these dogs are my 💓. All 9 of them. Lol. They never complain they don't care what our day brings they are up for it. Always thank me ( in there own way)always appreciate of me plus they let me do all the talking and I'm always right. I love my 4 legged babies(they are outdoors, all but 2). I wish you much luck in life. Time heals alot of wounds. You have a great afternoon.

Crafting is something that I came into doing when I realized that it helped to distract me from the chronic pain that I have been suffering from. I highly recommend this to anyone who has chronic pain issues. It really helps me so much to distract me from the immediate pain that I am in. And when the mind is focused on other things I truly believe it helps me to calm, focus and be busy doing things. It doesn't make the pain not there but for me it does decrease when I'm focused on Crafting something.
