I grew up listening to them almost every week. It was an institution. The roar of the motors and unparalleled play by play announcing. This was peak racing at that track.

If you ever have a chance and like auto racing….. you NEED to see these cars go . Visually beautiful, loud power offset engines , open wheel extravaganza … operational wing downforce, massive rear tires A sight to remember and hear . 11 out of 10 !!!

Most memorable moment that night was in the B-main. Gary Griffith lost his wing and plowed both him and Jamie Letcher into the wall.
