Sounds like a pretty decent shoe. Probably better than the Adidas Oswego I used to run in back in the early 2000's.

I just bought one while it was on sale. This is a good review i was looking for! I am beginning running and wanted to know if this would work well for me.

Last December mega sale this was going for 29.16 usd here in Philippines. Lightstrike is great beginner midsole as long as there is enough stack. I'm confused on the sizing. (Maybe in future you can compare side by side with what's you considered true to size fit. So we can see the difference.)

My usual running shoe size is US 11 across brands (of course their EU sizes vary but US size is consistent). So, any shoe I buy size 11 and it fits well I call true to size. For the Duramo speed it was too snug in my regular size US 11. Thanks for reaching out.

Narrow toe box nya, kung wide foot mo masikip sa toes. Tts for narrow foot Up half size or full size for wide footers Mas comportable up full size sa wide foot pero snug fit yung up half size kung mas trip mo snug.

Hi I'm stuck deciding whether to get duramo: 10, SL Speed, adistar 2.0, or the supernova 2.0. They are all good in terms of price, but the problem is I can't decide what's the best for me. Any opinion is appreciated!! Could you break down the specifics to help me pick one? I'm just looking for a shoe that is very durable and has the right amount of cushion and support, by the way, I'm just new to this running stuff so gladly need some help understanding things, thanks!

Get the Duramo speed. Adistar and duramo 10 are not meant for regular running. Supernova 2.0 was badly designed and uncomfortable to wear, Adidas immediately came up with Supernova 3.0.

@@saltyjo7514 i was thinking of the same thing!! I'm wondering if there are other shoes for other brands that can compete with duramo speed in the same price range with better durability and comfort, if there are let me know! :))

@@markjoshuatolentino24 Duramo speed is a good running shoe. I don't know your location but also check out older models of more premium running shoes, they usually go at significant discount. The Nike Pegasus 38 for instance is an excellent shoe if you can still get it, the 39 is also good but not the 40. Also Asics Dynablast 2 or 3, Nike winflo 10, Adidas Adizero boston 10 or 11 are also nice shoes you can get at good discounts now. New balance Rebel V3 is also very good and may be cheaper now the V4 is out. Cheers and happy running.

Adizero SL will be better. It has more room in the toebox so it is more comfortable and also has lightstrike pro midsole so it is more bouncy. However, there are better shoes for marathon but they will be more expensive. The marathon is long and tough and you will need all the help you can get from shoes. Some of the best marathon shoes are Adios Pro 3 and vaporfly 3. However, if you want cheaper options consider the Adidas Boston 12, Asics Novablast 3, Puma deviate Nitro elite. Good luck.

Maybe. But it depends on individual preferences. Ultraboost is more comfortable but heavier.

It's definitely not the best 5k shoe. This is a budget model for daily training.

Adidas Adizero Takumi Sen 9 is great for me. I also like the Puma Fast R nitro. @@7amatia815

@@drcyume got u r point sir. coz i am using downshifter 12 too and revolution 7 they both are comfortable but 12 is more comfortable. and coz of u r explanation about switch fwd i baught that too. switch fwd is also very comfortable for running. thank u for u r reply
