I waited to upload this video until I used this heat press for about a month to make sure I still like it! I definitely do! :) I would consider this a budget friendly heat press for small crafty business owner. It's a few dollars more than the Cricut Easy Press but what you get out of it is worth it if you have a crafty business!

So excited to hear your thoughts. I just got Amazon gift cards specifically for me to purchase a heat press like this. I have the Cricut easy press, but I can't press down as hard as I need to because of the arthritis I have. I have been eyeing the better sub 5 in 1 pink one.

Yes a video on bettersub that’s recent, I have seen a lot of Bettersub videos and they’re either months back or years 😂! I have the same heatpress in the purple and I love it, my mat however is like the one on your second heatpress.

Most purples are light, so the dark makes it pop and look amazing!!

On Amazon, the BetterSub 15x15 does not appear to have the black lower platen or the pad with corners that slip down onto the platen. Is yours a model that hasn't been publicly released yet?

Hey there Hailey, fellow Canadian here representing Milton, Ontario 🇨🇦. This vid was really insightful for a newb like myself. My wife actually just got me a Cricut machine for my birthday as I'm the creative guy (Graphic Designer by day) in the house. 😂 Any thoughts on whether you would buy one of these machines on Amazon in the "Used" category? Or just avoid it all together? Attempting to get some swag done for our son's upcoming birthday party next weekend so anywhere that I can save a buck or two at this point would help. Also, do you have any brand recommendations for the type of HTV to use in these machines as well? Hoping these machines come in candy apple red for future. 😁

Hi Pete! You're only a couple hours from me! I'm glad you found this video helpful! I'm all about saving a few bucks where possible too. I would say something like these heat presses would be the exception to that though. I would recommend sticking with new just because I've read that the used ones can have cosmetic damages and/or package damages. I'd hate for you to receive a dud. At least you know that you can return it if there's issues when you buy it new, direct from the BetterSub seller on Amazon rather than a third party. I would also recommend HTV called Siser Easyweed. You can buy it as Michales but it's definitely more expensive than buying from other places. RQC Supply in Woodstock has great prices and they ship fairly quickly, or you can road trip down and typically pick up same day. I'm working on getting a coupon code for everyone to save from there since I shop there all the time, but I don't have one just yet! Hopefully soon :) I hope this helps!

@@zab82a I bought this press and I use it for HTV and I've done lots of hoodies. I use the same time and temperature for all shirts (t-shirts/crewnecks/hoodies). 305º for 15 seconds with a heat resistant sheet. After the time is up I remove the carrier sheet and put the heat resistant sheet back and then do another 15 seconds. It works well. I'm using Gildan shirts and Siser vinyl. The thing I don't like about this press is that the bottom plate doesn't slide out so when I'm putting the shirt in the press to get ready I have to be close to the lid that's hot (I use oven mitts when it's a hoodie because it's more bulky). I like the presses where the bottom plate slides out. But the press itself has been really good, no issues with it. I hope this helps!

Hi there. I’m ur Manuel does it have customer care number or email u can share with me? I purchased a used bettersub off someone which was the first mistake but she told me the Manuel is in the box which it’s not and I have no idea where to start

When you say the heat press doesn’t beep or let you know it’s at the right temperature, how then do you know it’s reached the temperature you set it to?? Love the purple but have hesitated buying a press because there are so many reviews that scare me away!!

Hi Susann!! The spot where you set the temperature has a little screen for time and a little screen for temperature so you just look at those and you’ll see the numbers climb until it’s reached the desired temperature, then it will stay there. So just periodically check the screens 🥰💜

I did one shirt with my iron, and most of it was fine, but I don't have the strength to give it that firm press....and this one is reasonably priced! Thank you so much..you are a joy to watch and giggle with....

Sorry i can't just leave without this. i saw you struggle with the weight of the heat press so i checked that on average, men are 40% stronger than women.. For a moment, this made me appreciate being a male. 🙈 That means it would be the same if i lifted about 65 pounds or 28kg...
