I will NEVER use Budget again. 7 months after my last rental, they charged my card $900.00 for "damage" that they made up. I disputed the charge, and my CC company reimbursed me after budget was unable to provide details on damage. Budget were surprised that I kept all my records after I threatened them with a lawsuit over a car that I returned a week before the supposed damage occurred. RENTERS BEWARE! I am one of hundreds of people that have reported similar stories.

ALWAYS check for ANY damage, even the tiniest of scrapes or cracks in the glass, and take a picture before leaving the lot. Be sure to check under the bumpers and for parts hanging down under the car. If the car has any interior oder or stains make sure the guard notes it and gives you a copy. Do not become complacent!

What about if I have already booked the car without using FastBreak? Can I add my existing reservation under FastBreak so I can quickly get the car without waiting in line?

I would assume yes you could call and they would change your info to Fastbreak. As long as you give them 24 hours notice before you pick up the car, I don't think it would be an issue.

Here is a tip. If you sign up with fastbreak and pre pay online you don't have to worry about the employees at the regular pickup counter adding insurance to your rental you declined. They are notorious at Orlando doing this to customers

Question with fast break do I just pay with my credit card and when I get there just get the paper with out going to counter just go straight to car and no deposit required ?

I have two questions. ¿ what happend about any damage after Rent you 𝕋ℍ𝔼 car? Second ¿ what happend with de deposit? How time free the money?

We are arriving in July. I am panicking because I have been reading horror stories. We reserved not prepaid our vehicle back in January. This is the 1st time I didn't prepay. Our flight is arriving 6 hours ahead of our reservation. Not sure what to do. They have our flight reservations. Can you still use Fast Break if you don't prepay?

Yes you still use Fastbreak even if you don't prepay. We use our credit card to hold our reservation but they don't technically charge our card until we pick up the car and go through the checkout gate. You should call Budget and see if you can get your car reservation moved up closer to your landing time. We have done that several times with no issues.

When you return the car, there is an employee waiting at the car drop off line who will give you a receipt. You leave the key in the car.

I am definitely confused with budget car rental. I have a vacation coming up in July. I'm paying for a rental with my debit card and using my credit card to pay for the holding fee of $300. The confusing part of the budget rental is that they have to run a credit check, to see if your credit worthy. I'm not taking out a car loan. Did you have do a credit check? Or Everything was pay with a credit card? Thank you

Probably because you are using a debit card. I recommend using a credit card. I have heard too many stories if debit cards being charged wrong amounts and then your money is on hold for days. Don’t risk your bank account. Use your credit card for the whole transaction.

If you are a budget fastbreak memeber but you rent the car from another site for the budget car. Will the car still be in fastbreak? Meaning I don't have to get in the line at the airport even if I rented the car already/? first time renting a car

You can book through Costco using Fastbreak. There is a place to enter your Fastbreak number.

I have a car reserved with Budget at Orlando Airport for next month. It is my first time ever renting a car at an airport. The other times that I have flown, I had someone else pick me up at the airport. I don’t even know where I pay for the car at. Please, help!

After you pick your luggage at the baggage claim area, follow the signs to the rental car area. There will be a wall of Rental Car help desks, find the Budget Rental car desk. The Budget employees will ask some questions, print out some paperwork, charge your card, and then direct you to where your car is in the garage across the street (walkable and close by).

Yeah I just booked a car for a upcoming trip at $90 a day. I remember when I could get a car $90 for the week.

Not with fastbreak. You show your drivers license and paperwork when you leave the parking garage. The paperwork is the paper folder you pickup at the fastbreak kiosk.

I don’t understand why people wait in the long lines at the counter. Just sign up for fastbreak Update: did the fastbreak. No line at the garage pickup. Soo easy. Line inside was crazy long. DO THE FASTBREAK PERIOD
